And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

E il re disse a Siba: A che fine queste cose? E Siba rispose: Gli asini pei domestici del re, che li cavalchino; i pani, e i fichi, perchè li mangino i tuoi servi: e il vino, perchè ne beva chiunque si trovi spossato nel deserto.
Y dijo el rey á Siba: ¿Qué es esto? Y Siba respondió: Los asnos son para la familia del rey, en que suban; los panes y la pasa para los criados, que coman; y el vino, para que beban los que se cansaren en el desierto.
And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses be for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.
The king said to Ziba, “What do you mean by these?” Ziba said, “The donkeys are for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that those who are faint in the wilderness may drink.”
E il re disse: Dov'è il figliuolo del tuo signore? E Siba rispose al re: Egli è restato in Gerusalemme, e dice: Oggi il Signore d'Israele renderà a me il regno del padre mio,
Y dijo el rey: ¿Dónde está el hijo de tu señor? Y Siba respondió al rey: He aquí él se ha quedado en Jerusalem, porque ha dicho: Hoy me devolverá la casa de Israel el reino de mi padre.
And the king said, And where is thy master’s son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.
The king said, “Where is your master’s son?” Ziba said to the king, “Behold, he is staying in Jerusalem; for he said, ‘Today the house of Israel will restore me the kingdom of my father.’”
E il re disse a Siba: Tutto quello che possedeva Miphiboseth è tuo. E Siba disse: Io, o re mio signore, chieggo di trovar grazia dinanzi a te.
Entonces el rey dijo á Siba: He aquí, sea tuyo todo lo que tiene Mephi-boseth. Y respondió Siba inclinándose: Rey señor mío, halle yo gracia delante de ti.
Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine are all that pertained unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee that I may find grace in thy sight, my lord, O king.
Then the king said to Ziba, “Behold, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours.” Ziba said, “I bow down. Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, O king.”
Arrivò adunque il re David fino a Bahurim; e ad un tratto ne uscì fuora un uomo imparentato colla casa di Saul, per nome Semei, figliuolo di Gera, e facendosi più dappresso proferiva maledizioni.
Y vino el rey David hasta Bahurim: y he aquí, salía uno de la familia de la casa de Saúl, el cual se llamaba Semei, hijo de Gera; y salía maldiciendo,

E gettava sassi contro Davidde, e contro tutti i servi del re Davidde: or tutto il popolo, e tutti i combattenti camminavano a destra, e a sinistra del re.

Il Signore ti fa pagare il fio di tutto il sangue della casa di Saul: poiché tu usurpasti il suo regno, e il Signore ha trasportato il reame nelle mani di Assalonne tuo figliuolo: ed ecco che ti opprimono i mali tuoi, perchè tu se' un uomo sanguinario.
Jehová te ha dado el pago de toda la sangre de la casa de Saúl, en lugar del cual tú has reinado: mas Jehová ha entregado el reino en mano de tu hijo Absalom; y hete aquí sorprendido en tu maldad, porque eres varón de sangres.
The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
The LORD has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! The LORD has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”
Ma Abisai figliuolo di Sarvia disse al re: Dovrà egli questo cane morto maledire il re mio signore? Andrò io a troncargli la testa.
Entonces Abisai hijo de Sarvia dijo al rey: ¿Por qué maldice este perro muerto á mi señor el rey? Yo te ruego que me dejes pasar, y quitaréle la cabeza.
Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.
Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, “Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Please let me go over and take off his head.”
E il re disse: Che avete da far con me voi, figliuoli di Sarvia? lasciate ch'ei maledica: imperoccheé il Signore gli ha ordinato di maledir David: e chi ardirà di domandargli conto del perchè così faccia?
Y el rey respondió: ¿Qué tengo yo con vosotros, hijos de Sarvia? El maldice así, porque Jehová le ha dicho que maldiga á David: ¿quién pues le dirá: Por qué lo haces así?
And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?
The king said, “What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? Because he curses, and because the LORD has said to him, ‘Curse David,’ who then shall say, ‘Why have you done so?’”
Disse ancora il re ad Abisai, e a tutti i suoi servi: Ecco che un mio figliuolo generato da me vuol la mia vita: non debb'egli far peggio un figliuolo di Jemini? lasciale ch'ei maledica secondo l'ordine del Signore.
Y dijo David á Abisai y á todos sus siervos: He aquí, mi hijo que ha salido de mis entrañas, acecha á mi vida: ¿cuánto más ahora un hijo de Benjamín? Dejadle que maldiga, que Jehová se lo ha dicho.
And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.
David said to Abishai and to all his servants, “Behold, my son, who came out of my bowels, seeks my life. How much more this Benjamite, now? Leave him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD has invited him.
Forse (chi sa?) il Signore mirerà la mia afflizione: e mi renderà del bene per la maledizione di questo giorno.
Quizá mirará Jehová á mi aflicción, y me dará Jehová bien por sus maldiciones de hoy.
It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
It may be that the LORD will look on the wrong done to me, and that the LORD will repay me good for the cursing of me today.”
David pertanto, e i suoi compagni facevano loro strada. Ma Semei sul giogo del monte camminando dirimpetto a lui, lo malediceva, e gettava sassi verso di lui, e spargeva terra.
Y como David y los suyos iban por el camino, Semei iba por el lado del monte delante de él, andando y maldiciendo, y arrojando piedras delante de él, y esparciendo polvo.
And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.

E Chusai di Arachi amico di David essendosi presentato ad Assalonne, gli disse: Dio ti salvi, o re, Dio ti salvi, o re.
Y acaeció luego, que como Husai Arachîta amigo de David hubo llegado á Absalom, díjole Husai: Viva el rey, viva el rey.
And it came to pass, when Hushai the Archite, David’s friend, was come unto Absalom, that Hushai said unto Absalom, God save the king, God save the king.
When Hushai the Archite, David’s friend, had come to Absalom, Hushai said to Absalom, “Long live the king! Long live the king!”
E Assalonne disse a lui: È ella questa la gratitudine pel tuo amico? Perchè non se' tu andato col tuo amico?
Y Absalom dijo á Husai: ¿Este es tu agradecimiento para con tu amigo? ¿por qué no fuiste con tu amigo?
And Absalom said to Hushai, Is this thy kindness to thy friend? why wentest thou not with thy friend?
Absalom said to Hushai, “Is this your kindness to your friend? Why didn’t you go with your friend?”
E Chusai rispose ad Assalonne: No: perchè io sarò di colui che è eletto dal Signore, e da tutto questo popolo, e da tutto Israele; e con lui io mi starò.
Y Husai respondió á Absalom: No: antes al que eligiere Jehová y este pueblo y todos los varones de Israel, de aquél seré yo, y con aquél quedaré.
And Hushai said unto Absalom, Nay; but whom the LORD, and this people, and all the men of Israel, choose, his will I be, and with him will I abide.
Hushai said to Absalom, “No; but whomever the LORD and this people and all the men of Israel have chosen, I will be his, and I will stay with him.
E per dire anche questo; di chi sarò io servo? nol sarò io del figliuolo del re? come io obbedii al padre tuo, così obbedirò anche a te.
¿Y á quién había yo de servir? ¿no es á su hijo? Como he servido delante de tu padre, así seré delante de ti.
And again, whom should I serve? should I not serve in the presence of his son? as I have served in thy father’s presence, so will I be in thy presence.
Again, whom should I serve? Shouldn’t I serve in the presence of his son? As I have served in your father’s presence, so I will be in your presence.”
Or Assalonne disse ad Achitophel: Consultate quello che abbiam da fare.
Entonces dijo Absalom á Achitophel: Consultad qué haremos.
Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.
Then Absalom said to Ahithophel, “Give your counsel what we shall do.”
Achitophel disse ad Assalonne: Serviti delle concubine del padre tuo lasciate da lui a custodire la casa; affinchè quando tutto Israele saprà, come tu avrai fatto questo smacco al padre tuo, si assodino quelli nel tuo partito.
Y Achitophel dijo á Absalom: Entra á las concubinas de tu padre, que él dejó para guardar la casa; y todo el pueblo de Israel oirá que te has hecho aborrecible á tu padre, y así se esforzarán las manos de todos los que están contigo.
And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong.
Ahithophel said to Absalom, “Go in to your father’s concubines that he has left to keep the house. Then all Israel will hear that you are abhorred by your father. Then the hands of all who are with you will be strong.”
Alzarono adunque sul solajo un padiglione per Assalonne, e a vista di tutto Israele andò egli a trovarvi le concubine del padre suo.
Entonces pusieron una tienda á Absalom sobre el terrado, y entró Absalom á las concubinas de su padre, en ojos de todo Israel.
So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.

Or il consultare Achitophel in quel tempo era come consultare un Dio: tanto erano stimati i consigli di Achitophel sia quando era con Davidde, sia quando era con Assalonne. Chusai sventa il consiglio di Achitophel, il quale volea, che si opprimesse Davidde senza dilazione; e fa ciò sapere a Davidde, il quale per consiglio di Chusai passa il Giordano, onde Achitophel s'impicca. Tre amici portano de' regali a Davidde, affinchè il popolo ridotto in penuria non lo abbandoni.
Y el consejo que daba Achitophel en aquellos días, era como si consultaran la palabra de Dios. Tal era el consejo de Achitophel, así con David como con Absalom.
And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.
The counsel of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if a man inquired at the inner sanctuary of God. All the counsel of Ahithophel was like this both with David and with Absalom.
