7Después de cuatro años, Absalón le dijo al rey: ―Déjame ir a Hebrón a ofrecer sacrificios al Señor. De esta manera podré cumplir el voto que le hice mientras estaba en Guesur de Aram, de que si me permitía volver a Jerusalén, yo le ofrecería un sacrificio.

7Y al cabo de cuarenta años aconteció que Absalom dijo al rey: Yo te ruego me permitas que vaya á Hebrón, á pagar mi voto que he prometido á Jehová:

7And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.
