2Absalom se levait de bon matin et se tenait sur le bord du chemin de la porte. Chaque fois qu'un homme ayant une contestation venait vers le roi pour obtenir un jugement, Absalom l'appelait et disait : « De quelle ville es-tu ? » L'homme répondait : « Ton serviteur est de l'une des tribus d'Israël. »
