7Und jetzt hat sich die ganze Verwandtschaft gegen deine Magd erhoben und sagt: ›Gib den Brudermörder heraus, damit wir ihn umbringen für das Leben seines Bruders, den er erschlagen hat, und damit wir auch den Erben ausrotten!‹ So wollen sie also die letzte Kohle, die mir noch geblieben ist, auslöschen, um meinem Manne weder Namen noch Nachkommen auf dem Erdboden zu lassen!«

7Y he aquí toda la parentela se ha levantado contra tu sierva, diciendo: Entrega al que mató á su hermano, para que le hagamos morir por la vida de su hermano á quien él mató, y quitemos también el heredero. Así apagarán el ascua que me ha quedado, no dejando á mi marido nombre ni reliquia sobre la tierra.

7And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.

World English Bible

7Behold, the whole family has risen against your servant, and they say, ‘Deliver him who struck his brother, that we may kill him for the life of his brother whom he killed, and so destroy the heir also.’ Thus they would quench my coal which is left, and would leave to my husband neither name nor remainder on the surface of the earth.”
