2Joabe mandou a Tecoa e trouxe de lá uma mulher sábia, e lhe disse: “Por favor, finja que está de luto, vista roupas de luto, por favor, e não se unja com óleo; mas seja como uma mulher que tem chorado por um morto há muito tempo.

2Envió Joab á Tecoa, y tomó de allá una mujer astuta, y díjole: Yo te ruego que te enlutes, y te vistas de ropas de luto, y no te unjas con óleo, antes sé como mujer que ha mucho tiempo que trae luto por algún muerto;

2And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:
