E quella disse: Pel Signore Dio suo ricordisi il re di far sì che, non cresca il numero di coloro che cercan di far vendetta del sangue de' loro parenti, e che costoro non uccidano il mio figliuolo. Diss'egli: Viva il Signore: non cadrà a terra un capello del tuo figliuolo.
Dijo ella entonces: Ruégote, oh rey, que te acuerdes de Jehová tu Dios, que no dejes á los cercanos de la sangre aumentar el daño con destruir á mi hijo. Y él respondió: Vive Jehová, que no caerá ni un cabello de la cabeza de tu hijo en tierra.
Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
Then she said, “Please let the king remember the LORD your God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son.” He said, “As the LORD lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the earth.”
