2 Samuel 13

Der König aber sprach zu Absalom: Nicht doch, mein Sohn! Wir wollen doch nicht alle mitgehen, dass wir dir nicht beschwerlich fallen. Auch als er in ihn drang, wollte er nicht mitgehen, sondern verabschiedete ihn.

Y respondió el rey á Absalom: No, hijo mío, no vamos todos, porque no te hagamos costa. Y aunque porfió con él, no quiso ir, mas bendíjolo.

And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

The king said to Absalom, “No, my son, let’s not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him; however he would not go, but blessed him.
