2 Samuel 10

Als nun Joab sah, dass der Angriff von vorn und hinten gegen ihn gerichtet war, traf er eine Auswahl unter allen Auserlesenen in Israel und stellte sich den Syrern entgegen.

Viendo pues Joab que había escuadrones delante y detrás de él, entresacó de todos los escogidos de Israel, y púsose en orden contra los Siros.

When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:
