2 Samuel 10

Gioab adunque veggendo, come quegli eran preparati ad attaccarlo alla fronte, e alle spalle, fece scelta di tutti i più bravi d'Israele, e li mise in ordinanza in faccia a' Siri:

Viendo pues Joab que había escuadrones delante y detrás de él, entresacó de todos los escogidos de Israel, y púsose en orden contra los Siros.

When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:

Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel and put them in array against the Syrians.
