La qual cosa essendo stata riferita a Davidde, spedì gente incontro ad essi: perocché erano malamente confusi, e fece dir loro: Fermatevi in Gerico, sino che vi cresca la barba, e poi tornate.

When they told it unto David, he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed: and the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.
