DER Prophet Elisa aber rief einen der Prophetenjünger und sprach zu ihm: Gürte deine Lenden, nimm diese Ölflasche mit dir und gehe nach Ramoth in Gilead.

ENTONCES el profeta Eliseo llamó á uno de los hijos de los profetas, y díjole: Ciñe tus lomos, y toma esta alcuza de aceite en tu mano, y ve á Ramoth de Galaad.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead:

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, “Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Und wenn du hinkommst, so forsche daselbst nach Jehu, dem Sohne Josaphats, des Sohnes Nimsis: geh hinein, heisse ihn aus dem Kreis seiner Genossen aufstehen und führe ihn ins innerste Gemach.

Y cuando llegares allá, verás allí á Jehú hijo de Josaphat hijo de Nimsi; y entrando, haz que se levante de entre sus hermanos, y mételo en la recámara.

And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;

When you come there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.

Dann nimm die Ölflasche, giesse sie über sein Haupt aus und sage: So spricht der Herr: "Ich salbe dich zum König über Israel!" Darnach öffne die Türe und fliehe unverweilt.

Toma luego la alcuza de aceite, y derrámala sobre su cabeza, y di: Así dijo Jehová: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel. Y abriendo la puerta, echa á huir, y no esperes.

Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘The LORD says, “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door, flee, and don’t wait.”

Da ging der Jüngling nach Ramoth in Gilead.

Als er hineinkam, sassen die Hauptleute des Heeres gerade beisammen, und er sprach: Ich habe dir etwas zu sagen, Hauptmann! Da fragte Jehu: Wem von uns allen? Er antwortete: Dir, Hauptmann!

And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, “I have a message for you, captain.” Jehu said, “To which one of us?” He said, “To you, O captain.”

Da stand er auf und ging ins Haus hinein. Nun goss jener das Öl über sein Haupt und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: "Ich salbe dich zum König über mein Volk Israel. (a) 1Kön 19:16

Du sollst das Haus Ahabs, deines Herrn, ausrotten, und so will ich das Blut der Propheten, meiner Knechte, und das Blut aller Knechte des Herrn an Isebel rächen.

Y herirás la casa de Achâb tu señor, para que yo vengue la sangre de mis siervos los profetas, y la sangre de todos los siervos de Jehová, de la mano de Jezabel.

And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

You must strike your master Ahab’s house, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

Das ganze Haus Ahabs soll umkommen; ich will von Ahabs Geschlecht alles ausrotten, was männlich ist, Unmündige wie Mündige in Israel (a) 1Kön 14:10; 21:21

Y perecerá toda la casa de Achâb, y talaré de Achâb todo meante á la pared, así al guardado como al desamparado en Israel.

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:

For the whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

und will es mit dem Hause Ahabs machen wie mit dem Hause Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, und mit dem Hause Baesas, des Sohnes Ahias. (a) 1Kön 15:29; 16:11

Y yo pondré la casa de Achâb como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y como la casa de Baasa hijo de Ahía.

And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:

Isebel aber sollen die Hunde fressen auf dem Feld von Jesreel, und niemand soll sie begraben." Dann öffnete er die Türe und entfloh. (a) 1Kön 21:23

Y á Jezabel comerán perros en el campo de Jezreel, y no habrá quien la sepulte. En seguida abrió la puerta, y echó á huir.

Als nun Jehu zu den Dienern seines Herrn herauskam, sprachen sie zu ihm: Wie steht's? Warum ist dieser Verrückte zu dir gekommen? Er antwortete ihnen: Ihr kennt doch den Mann und sein Gerede!

Después salió Jehú á los siervos de su señor, y dijéronle: ¿Hay paz? ¿para qué entró á ti aquel loco? Y él les dijo: Vosotros conocéis al hombre y sus palabras.

Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

When Jehu came out to the servants of his lord and one said to him, “Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?” He said to them, “You know the man and how he talks.”

Aber sie sprachen: Ausflüchte! Sage es uns doch! Er erwiderte: So und so hat er mit mir gesprochen, nämlich: Also spricht der Herr: "Ich salbe dich zum König über Israel!"

Y ellos dijeron: Mentira; decláranoslo ahora. Y él dijo: Así y así me habló, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel.

And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

They said, “That is a lie. Tell us now.” He said, “He said to me, ‘The LORD says, I have anointed you king over Israel.’”

Da nahmen sie eilends ein jeglicher sein Gewand und legten es unter seine Füsse auf die blossen Stufen; dann stiessen sie in die Posaune und riefen: Jehu ist König!

Entonces tomaron prestamente su ropa, y púsola cada uno debajo de él en un trono alto, y tocaron corneta, y dijeron: Jehú es rey.

Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

Then they hurried, and each man took his cloak, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, “Jehu is king.”

So zettelte Jehu, der Sohn Josaphats, des Sohnes Nimsis, eine Verschwörung gegen Joram an. Joram aber hatte zu Ramoth in Gilead mit ganz Israel wider Hasael, den König von Syrien, die Wache gehalten.

Así conjuró Jehú hijo de Josaphat hijo de Nimsi, contra Joram. (Estaba Joram guardando á Ramoth de Galaad con todo Israel, por causa de Hazael rey de Siria.

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramoth-gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

Dann war er selbst zurückgekehrt, um sich in Jesreel heilen zu lassen von den Wunden, die ihm die Schützen beigebracht hatten, als er mit Hasael, dem König von Syrien, kämpfte. Und Jehu sprach: Wenn es euch recht ist, so soll niemand aus der Stadt entfliehen, um die Kunde nach Jesreel zu bringen.

Dann bestieg Jehu den Wagen und fuhr nach Jesreel; denn dort lag Joram (krank). Auch war Ahasja, der König von Juda, herabgekommen, um Joram zu besuchen.

Als der Wächter, der auf dem Turm zu Jesreel stand, die Schar Jehus kommen sah, rief er: Ich sehe eine Schar! Da befahl Joram: Hole einen Reiter und sende ihnen den entgegen, damit er frage, ob es gut stehe.

Y el atalaya que estaba en la torre de Jezreel, vió la cuadrilla de Jehú, que venía, y dijo: Yo veo una cuadrilla. Y Joram dijo: Toma uno de á caballo, y envía á reconocerlos, y que les diga: ¿Hay paz?

And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?

Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, “I see a company.” Joram said, “Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, ‘Is it peace?’”

Der Reiter ritt Jehu entgegen und sprach: Der König lässt fragen, ob es gut stehe. Jehu antwortete: Was geht es dich an, ob es gut steht? Wende um und folge mir! Der Wächter aber meldete: Der Bote ist zu ihnen gekommen und kehrt nicht zurück.

Fué pues el de á caballo á reconocerlos, y dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú le dijo: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí. El atalaya dió luego aviso, diciendo: El mensajero llegó hasta ellos, y no vuelve.

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.

So one went on horseback to meet him, and said, “the king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu said, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!” The watchman said, “The messenger came to them, but he isn’t coming back.”

Da sandte er einen zweiten Reiter. Als der zu ihnen kam, sprach er: Der König lässt fragen, ob es gut stehe. Jehu antwortete: Was geht es dich an, ob es gut steht? Wende um und folge mir!

Entonces envió otro de á caballo, el cual llegando á ellos, dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú respondió: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí.

Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

Wieder meldete der Wächter: Er ist zu ihnen gekommen und kehrt nicht zurück. Das Jagen aber gleicht dem Jagen Jehus, des Enkels Nimsis; er jagt wie rasend!

El atalaya volvió á decir: También éste llegó á ellos y no vuelve: mas el marchar del que viene es como el marchar de Jehú hijo de Nimsi, porque viene impetuosamente.

And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.

The watchman said, “He came to them, and isn’t coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

Da befahl Joram: Spannet an! und man spannte seinen Wagen an. Dann fuhren Joram, der König von Israel, und Ahasja, der König von Juda, ein jeder auf seinem Wagen hinaus; sie fuhren Jehu entgegen und trafen ihn beim Acker Naboths von Jesreel. (a) 1Kön 21:1

Entonces Joram dijo: Unce. Y uncido que fué su carro, salió Joram rey de Israel, y Ochôzías rey de Judá, cada uno en su carro, y salieron á encontrar á Jehú, al cual hallaron en la heredad de Naboth de Jezreel.

And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Joram said, “Get ready!” They got his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot; and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him on Naboth the Jezreelite’s land.

Als Joram den Jehu sah, sprach er: Steht es gut, Jehu? Er aber antwortete: Was gut, solange die Hurerei deiner Mutter Isebel und ihre vielen Zaubereien währen?

Y en viendo Joram á Jehú, dijo: ¿Hay paz, Jehú? Y él respondió: ¿Qué paz, con las fornicaciones de Jezabel tu madre, y sus muchas hechicerías?

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

When Joram saw Jehu, he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered, “What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?”

Da lenkte Joram um zur Flucht und rief Ahasja zu: Verrat, Ahasja!

Entonces Joram volviendo la mano huyó, y dijo á Ochôzías: ¡Traición, Ochôzías!

And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah.

Jehu aber hatte den Bogen gespannt und schoss Joram in den Rücken, dass ihm der Pfeil durch das Herz fuhr und er in seinem Wagen zusammenbrach.

Mas Jehú flechó su arco, é hirió á Joram entre las espaldas, y la saeta salió por su corazón, y cayó en su carro.

And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

Dann befahl er seinem Adjutanten Bidekar: Nimm ihn und wirf ihn auf den Acker Naboths von Jesreel! denn ich denke daran, wie ich und du zusammen hinter seinem Vater Ahab her ritten, als der Herr diesen Spruch über ihn tat:

Dijo luego Jehú á Bidkar su capitán: Tómalo y échalo á un cabo de la heredad de Naboth de Jezreel. Acuérdate que cuando tú y yo íbamos juntos con la gente de Achâb su padre, Jehová pronunció esta sentencia sobre él, diciendo:

Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;

Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how, when you and I rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden on him:

"Fürwahr, das Blut Naboths und seiner Söhne habe ich gestern gesehen, spricht der Herr, und ich werde es dir vergelten auf diesem Acker, spricht der Herr." So nimm ihn nun und wirf ihn auf den Acker nach dem Worte des Herrn. (a) 1Kön 21:19

Que yo he visto ayer las sangres de Naboth, y las sangres de sus hijos, dijo Jehová; y tengo de darte la paga en esta heredad, dijo Jehová. Tómalo pues ahora, y échalo en la heredad, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD.

‘Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will repay you in this plot of ground,’ says the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to the LORD’s word.”

Als Ahasja, der König von Juda, das sah, floh er in der Richtung auf Beth-Haggan. Jehu aber jagte ihm nach und rief: Schiesst ihn auch nieder! Und sie schossen ihn nieder auf dem Wagen, am Pass von Gur bei Jibleam; und er floh nach Megiddo und starb daselbst.

Y viendo esto Ochôzías rey de Judá, huyó por el camino de la casa del huerto. Y siguiólo Jehú, diciendo: Herid también á éste en el carro. Y le hirieron á la subida de Gur, junto á Ibleam. Y él huyó á Megiddo, y murió allí.

But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.

Da führten ihn seine Diener auf einem Wagen nach Jerusalem und begruben ihn in seiner Grabstätte bei seinen Vätern in der Davidsstadt.

Jehu aber kam nach Jesreel. Sobald Isebel das hörte, schminkte sie ihre Augen, schmückte ihr Haupt und schaute zum Fenster hinaus;

And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

und als Jehu ins Tor trat, rief sie: Geht es Simri gut, dem Mörder seines Herrn? (a) 1Kön 16:18

Y como entraba Jehú por la puerta, ella dijo: ¿Sucedió bien á Zimri, que mató á su señor?

And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?

Da blickte er zum Fenster hinauf und sprach: Wer hält's mit mir, wer? Als nun ein paar Kämmerer zu ihm herausschauten,

And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.

befahl er: Stürzt sie herab! und sie stürzten sie hinab, dass die Mauer und die Pferde mit ihrem Blut bespritzt wurden; und diese zerstampften sie.

And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

Dann ging er hinein und ass und trank; hierauf befahl er: Seht doch nach dieser Verfluchten und begrabt sie; denn sie ist eine Königstochter.

And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king’s daughter.

When he had come in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king’s daughter.”

Als sie aber hingingen, sie zu begraben, fanden sie nichts mehr von ihr als den Schädel, die Füsse und die Handflächen.

Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, “This is the LORD’s word, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel on the plot of Jezreel,

und wie Dünger auf dem Felde soll der Leichnam Isebels sein auf der Flur von Jesreel", sodass man nicht sagen kann: Dies ist Isebel.

Y el cuerpo de Jezabel fué cual estiércol sobre la faz de la tierra en la heredad de Jezreel; de manera que nadie pueda decir: Esta es Jezabel.

And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.
