9Hazaël alla au-devant d'Elisée, emmenant avec lui un présent composé de tout ce qu'il y avait de meilleur à Damas, une charge de quarante chameaux; il s'avança, et, se présentant à lui, il dit: "Ton fils Ben-Hadad, roi de Syrie, m'a envoyé vers toi et demande: Guérirai-je de ma maladie?"

9So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Ben-hadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
