DIJO entonces Eliseo: Oid palabra de Jehová: Así dijo Jehová: Mañana á estas horas valdrá el seah de flor de harina un siclo, y dos seah de cebada un siclo, á la puerta de Samaria.
Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
Elisha said, “Hear the LORD’s word. The LORD says, ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.’”
Da antwortete der Offizier, auf dessen Arm sich der König stützte, dem Gottesmanne: Und wenn der Herr Luken am Himmel machte, wie könnte das geschehen? Er aber sprach: Nun, du wirst es mit eignen Augen sehen, aber nicht davon essen. (1) d.h. sein Adjutant.

Da antwortete einer seiner Diener: So nehme man doch ein paar von den übriggebliebenen Pferden, die noch da sind - es geht ihnen ja doch wie allen andern, die draufgegangen sind -; die wollen wir aussenden und dann schauen!

Der König aber hatte den Offizier, auf dessen Arm er sich stützte, zum Aufseher im Tore bestellt; dort im Tore zertrat ihn das Volk, dass er starb, wie der Gottesmann verkündet hatte, als der König zu ihm hinabgekommen war.

And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

So geschah, was der Gottesmann zum König gesagt hatte: Morgen um diese Zeit werden zwei Scheffel Gerste im Tore von Samaria ein Lot (Silber) gelten und ein Scheffel Semmelmehl ein Lot.
Aconteció pues de la manera que el varón de Dios había hablado al rey, diciendo: Dos seah de cebada por un siclo, y el seah de flor de harina será vendido por un siclo mañana á estas horas, á la puerta de Samaria.
And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
