9Darnach aber sprachen sie zueinander: Es ist nicht recht, was wir da tun; der heutige Tag ist ein Tag froher Botschaft. Wenn wir schweigen und warten, bis es heller Morgen wird, so trifft uns Schuld. Wohlan denn, lasst uns hineingehen und es im Palast des Königs sagen.

9Y dijéronse el uno al otro: No hacemos bien: hoy es día de buena nueva, y nosotros callamos: y si esperamos hasta la luz de la mañana, nos alcanzará la maldad. Vamos pues ahora, entremos, y demos la nueva en casa del rey.

9Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

9Then they said to one another, “We aren’t doing right. Today is a day of good news, and we keep silent. If we wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let’s go and tell the king’s household.”
