17Le roi avait préposé à la porte de la ville l'officier sur lequel il avait l'habitude de s'appuyer; écrasé par la foule à cette porte même, il périt, ainsi que l'avait annoncé l'homme de Dieu, qui avait fait cette prédiction au moment où le roi s'était avancé vers lui.

17And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.
