17Der König aber hatte den Ritter, auf dessen Arm er sich damals gestützt hatte, zum Aufseher der Thore bestellt. Aber das Volk zertrat ihn im Thore, so daß er starb, nach dem Worte des Mannes Gottes, das er geredet hatte, als der König zu ihm hinabkam.

17And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.
