12Dessa forma, o rei levantou-se de noite e disse aos seus servos: "Agora eu vos direi o que os sírios nos fizeram. Eles sabem que nós estamos com fome. Então, eles saíram do acampamento para se esconderem nos campos. Eles estão dizendo: 'Quando eles saírem da cidade, nós os pegaremos vivos e entraremos na cidade'".

12Y levantóse el rey de noche, y dijo á sus siervos: Yo os declararé lo que nos han hecho los Siros. Ellos saben que tenemos hambre, y hanse salido de las tiendas y escondídose en el campo, diciendo: Cuando hubieren salido de la ciudad, los tomaremos vivos, y entraremos en la ciudad.

12And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
