Giecí, criado de Eliseo, el varón de Dios, se dijo: “He aquí que mi señor ha tratado con demasiado miramiento a Naamán, ese sirio, no aceptando de su mano lo que había traído. ¡Vive Yahvé! que voy a correr en su seguimiento para recibir de él alguna cosa.”
Entonces Giezi, criado de Eliseo el varón de Dios, dijo entre sí: He aquí mi señor estorbó á este Siro Naamán, no tomando de su mano las cosas que había traído. Vive Jehová, que correré yo tras él, y tomaré de él alguna cosa.
