8Il fit aussi venir des villes de Juda tous les sacrificateurs, et profana les hauts lieux où les sacrificateurs faisaient des encensements, depuis Guéba jusqu'à Béer-Shéba; et il démolit les hauts lieux des portes, entre autres celui qui était à l'entrée de la porte de Josué, préfet de la ville, à gauche quand on entre par la porte de la ville.

8E hizo venir todos los sacerdotes de las ciudades de Judá, y profanó los altos donde los sacerdotes quemaban perfumes, desde Gabaa hasta Beer-seba; y derribó los altares de las puertas que estaban á la entrada de la puerta de Josué, gobernador de la ciudad, que estaban á la mano izquierda, á la puerta de la ciudad.

8And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beer-sheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left hand at the gate of the city.
