3Ensuite, le roi, debout sur le piédestal, renouvela l'alliance devant le Seigneur, afin de suivre le Seigneur, de garder ses commandements, ses témoignages et ses justices, de tout son cœur, dans la plénitude de son âme ; et enfin, de faire revivre toutes les paroles de l'alliance écrite dans le livre ; or, tout le peuple acquiesça à l'alliance.

3Y poniéndose el rey en pie junto á la columna, hizo alianza delante de Jehová, de que irían en pos de Jehová, y guardarían sus mandamientos, y sus testimonios, y sus estatutos, con todo el corazón y con toda el alma, y que cumplirían las palabras de la alianza que estaban escritas en aquel libro. Y todo el pueblo confirmó el pacto.

3And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book.
