29Naqueles dias o faraó Neco, rei do Egito, atacou o rei da Assíria junto ao rio Eufrates. O rei Josias foi ao encontro dele para combatê-lo; porém o faraó Neco o enfrentou e o matou em Megido.

29In his days Pharaoh-nechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
