ACHT Jahre alt war Josia, als er König wurde, und 31 Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hiess Jedida, die Tochter Adajas von Bozkath.

CUANDO Josías comenzó á reinar era de ocho años, y reinó en Jerusalem treinta y un años. El nombre de su madre fué Idida hija de Adaía de Boscath.

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.

Er tat, was dem Herrn wohlgefiel: er wandelte ganz auf dem Wege seines Ahnherrn David und wich nicht davon ab, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken.

E hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, y anduvo en todo el camino de David su padre, sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, and walked in all the ways of David his father, and didn’t turn away to the right hand or to the left.

Nun begab es sich im achtzehnten Jahre des Königs Josia, da sandte der König den Schreiber Saphan, den Sohn Azaljas, des Sohnes Mesullams, in den Tempel des Herrn mit dem Auftrag:

Y á los dieciocho años del rey Josías, fué que envió el rey á Saphán hijo de Azalía, hijo de Mesullam, escriba, á la casa de Jehová, diciendo:

And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, saying,

Gehe hinauf zum Hohenpriester Hilkia; er soll das Geld ausschütten, das in den Tempel des Herrn gebracht worden ist und das die Schwellenhüter vom Volke eingesammelt haben, (a) 2Kön 12:4

Ve á Hilcías, sumo sacerdote: dile que recoja el dinero que se ha metido en la casa de Jehová, que han juntado del pueblo los guardianes de la puerta,

Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:

“Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may count the money which is brought into the LORD’s house, which the keepers of the threshold have gathered of the people.

damit man es den Werkmeistern gebe, die am Tempel die Aufsicht haben, und diese sollen es den Arbeitern geben, die am Tempel beschäftigt sind, die Schäden an dem Gebäude auszubessern,

Y que lo pongan en manos de los que hacen la obra, que tienen cargo de la casa de Jehová, y que lo entreguen á los que hacen la obra de la casa de Jehová, para reparar las aberturas de la casa:

And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,

Let them deliver it into the hand of the workers who have the oversight of the LORD’s house; and let them give it to the workers who are in the LORD’s house, to repair the damage to the house,

den Zimmerleuten, Bauleuten und Maurern, um Holz und behauene Steine für die Ausbesserung des Tempels zu kaufen.

A los carpinteros, á los maestros y albañiles, para comprar madera y piedra de cantería para reparar la casa;

Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.

to the carpenters, and to the builders, and to the masons, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the house.

Doch soll mit ihnen nicht abgerechnet werden über das Geld, das ihnen eingehändigt wird, sondern auf Treu und Glauben handeln sie. (a) 2Kön 12:15

Y que no se les cuente el dinero cuyo manejo se les confiare, porque ellos proceden con fidelidad.

Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.

However, no accounting shall be asked of them for the money delivered into their hand, for they deal faithfully.”

Da sprach der Hohepriester Hilkia zu dem Schreiber Saphan: Ich habe das Gesetzbuch im Tempel des Herrn gefunden. Und Hilkia übergab Saphan das Buch, und der las es.

Entonces dijo el sumo sacerdote Hilcías á Saphán escriba: El libro de la ley he hallado en la casa de Jehová. E Hilcías dió el libro á Saphán, y leyólo.

And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the LORD’s house.” Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

Darnach begab sich der Schreiber Saphan zum König, brachte ihm Bericht und sprach: Deine Knechte haben das Geld, das sich im Tempel vorfand, ausgeschüttet und es den Werkmeistern eingehändigt, die am Tempel des Herrn die Aufsicht haben.

Viniendo luego Saphán escriba al rey, dió al rey la respuesta, y dijo: Tus siervos han juntado el dinero que se halló en el templo, y lo han entregado en poder de los que hacen la obra, que tienen cargo de la casa de Jehová.

And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.

Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, “Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hands of the workmen who have the oversight of the LORD’s house.”

Dann aber sagte der Schreiber Saphan zum König: Der Priester Hilkia hat mir ein Buch gegeben. Und Saphan las es dem König vor.

Asimismo Saphán escriba declaró al rey, diciendo: Hilcías el sacerdote me ha dado un libro. Y leyólo Saphán delante del rey.

And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has delivered a book to me.” Then Shaphan read it before the king.

Als der König die Worte des Gesetzbuches hörte, zerriss er seine Kleider.

Y cuando el rey hubo oído las palabras del libro de la ley, rasgó sus vestidos.

And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.

When the king had heard the words of the book of the law, he tore his clothes.

Und der König gab dem Priester Hilkia, Ahikam, dem Sohne Saphans, Achbor, dem Sohne Michajas, dem Schreiber Saphan und Asaja, dem Diener des Königs, den Befehl:

Luego mandó el rey á Hilcías el sacerdote, y á Ahicam hijo de Saphán, y á Achbor hijo de Michâía, y á Saphán escriba, y á Asaía siervo del rey, diciendo:

And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king’s, saying,

The king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king’s servant, saying,

Geht, befragt den Herrn für mich und für das Volk und für ganz Juda über dieses Buch, das man gefunden hat; denn gross ist der Grimm des Herrn, der über uns entbrannt ist, weil unsre Väter nicht auf die Worte dieses Buches gehört haben, dass sie alles getan hätten, was darin geschrieben steht.

Id, y preguntad á Jehová por mí, y por el pueblo, y por todo Judá, acerca de las palabras de este libro que se ha hallado: porque grande ira de Jehová es la que ha sido encendida contra nosotros, por cuanto nuestros padres no escucharon las palabras de este libro, para hacer conforme á todo lo que nos fué escrito.

Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“Go inquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the LORD’s wrath that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that which is written concerning us.”

Da gingen der Priester Hilkia, Ahikam, Achbor, Saphan und Asaja zu der Prophetin Hulda, dem Weibe des Kleiderverwalters Sallum, des Sohnes Thikwas, des Sohnes Harhas' - sie wohnte in Jerusalem, im zweiten Stadtviertel - und redeten mit ihr.

Entonces fué Hilcías el sacerdote, y Ahicam y Achbor y Saphán y Asaía, á Hulda profetisa, mujer de Sallum hijo de Ticva hijo de Araas, guarda de las vestiduras, la cual moraba en Jerusalem en la segunda parte de la ciudad, y hablaron con ella.

So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.

So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in the second quarter); and they talked with her.

Da sprach sie zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: Sagt dem Manne, der euch zu mir gesandt hat:

Y ella les dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: Decid al varón que os envió á mí:

And she said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,

She said to them, “The LORD the God of Israel says, ‘Tell the man who sent you to me,

So spricht der Herr: Siehe, ich will Unglück bringen über diesen Ort und über seine Bewohner, alles was in diesem Buche angedroht ist, das der König von Juda gelesen hat,

Así dijo Jehová: He aquí yo traigo mal sobre este lugar, y sobre los que en él moran, á saber, todas las palabras del libro que ha leído el rey de Judá:

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:

“The LORD says, ‘Behold, I will bring evil on this place and on its inhabitants, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read.

zur Strafe dafür, dass sie mich verlassen und andern Göttern geopfert haben, um mich zu erzürnen mit all dem Machwerk ihrer Hände; darum wird mein Grimm wider diesen Ort entbrennen und nicht erlöschen.

Por cuanto me dejaron á mí, y quemaron perfumes á dioses ajenos, provocándome á ira en toda obra de sus manos; y mi furor se ha encendido contra este lugar, y no se apagará.

Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

Zum König von Juda aber, der euch gesandt hat, den Herrn zu befragen, sollt ihr sagen: So spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: Die Worte, die ich geredet habe, hast du gehört.

Mas al rey de Judá que os ha enviado para que preguntaseis á Jehová, diréis así: Así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: Por cuanto oíste las palabras del libro,

But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;

But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, tell him, “The LORD the God of Israel says, ‘Concerning the words which you have heard,

Weil nun dein Herz weich geworden ist und du dich vor dem Herrn gedemütigt hast, als du vernahmst, was ich wider diesen Ort und seine Bewohner geredet habe - dass sie ein Ausdruck des Entsetzens und des Fluches werden sollen -, und weil du deine Kleider zerrissen und vor mir geweint hast, so habe auch ich gehört, spricht der Herr.

Y tu corazón se enterneció, y te humillaste delante de Jehová, cuando oíste lo que yo he pronunciado contra este lugar y contra sus moradores, que vendrían á ser asolados y malditos, y rasgaste tus vestidos, y lloraste en mi presencia, también yo te he oído, dice Jehová.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.

because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you,’ says the LORD.

Darum, wenn ich dich dereinst zu deinen Vätern versammle, sollst du in Frieden in deiner Grabstätte geborgen werden, und deine Augen sollen all das Unglück, das ich über diesen Ort bringen will, nicht schauen. Und sie erstatteten dem Könige Bericht.

Por tanto, he aquí yo te recogeré con tus padres, y tú serás recogido á tu sepulcro en paz, y no verán tus ojos todo el mal que yo traigo sobre este lugar. Y ellos dieron al rey la respuesta.

Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.

‘Therefore behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace. Your eyes will not see all the evil which I will bring on this place.’”’” So they brought this message back to the king.
