Manasse era in età di dodici anni quando principiò a regnare; e regnò cinquantacinque anni in Gerusalemme: sua madre ebbe nome Haphsiba.

DE doce años era Manasés cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem cincuenta y cinco años: el nombre de su madre fué Hepsiba.

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzi-bah.

Egli fece il male nel cospetto del Signore, onorando gl'idoli delle nazioni sterminate già dal Signore all'arrivo de' figliuoli d'Israele.

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, según las abominaciones de las gentes que Jehová había echado delante de los hijos de Israel.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

E si rivolse a rimettere in piedi i luoghi eccelsi rovinati da Ezechia suo padre, e alzò altari a Baal, e piantò dei boschetti, come avea fatto Achab re d'Israele, e adorò tutta la milizia del cielo, e le rendette onore.

Porque él volvió á edificar los altos que Ezechîas su padre había derribado, y levantó altares á Baal, é hizo bosque, como había hecho Achâb rey de Israel: y adoró á todo el ejército del cielo, y sirvió á aquellas cosas.

Ed eresse altari a tutta la milizia del cielo nei due atri del tempio del Signore.

Y edificó altares para todo el ejército del cielo en los dos atrios de la casa de Jehová.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

E fece passar pel fuoco il proprio figliuolo, e andò dietro agl'indozzamenti, e badò agli auguri, e istituì dei maghi, e moltiplicò gli aruspici facendo il male dinanzi al Signore, e provocandolo ad ira.

Y pasó á su hijo por fuego, y miró en tiempos, y fué agorero, é instituyó pythones y adivinos, multiplicando así el hacer lo malo en ojos de Jehová, para provocarlo á ira.

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

He made his son to pass through the fire, practiced sorcery, used enchantments, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in the LORD’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

Pose eziandio l'idolo del bosco piantato da lui, nel tempio del Signore, intorno al quale il Signore avea detto a Davidde, e a Salomone suo figliuolo: In questo tempio, e in Gerusalemme eletta tra tutte le tribù d'Israele, porrò dio il mio nome in sempiterno.

Y puso una entalladura del bosque que él había hecho, en la casa de la cual había Jehová dicho á David y á Salomón su hijo: Yo pondré mi nombre para siempre en esta casa, y en Jerusalem, á la cual escogí de todas las tribus de Israel:

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

E non permetterò, che Israele abbia mai più a muovere il piede dalla terra data da me ai padri loro: se però eglino osserveranno tutti i miei comandamenti, e tutta la legge intimata ad essi da Mosè mio servo

Y no volveré á hacer que el pie de Israel sea movido de la tierra que dí á sus padres, con tal que guarden y hagan conforme á todas las cosas que yo les he mandado, y conforme á toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés les mandó.

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

Ma quelli non ascoltarono; ma furon sedotti da Manasse per mal fare più, che non avean fatto le genti sterminate dal Signore alla venuta de' figliuoli d'Israele.

Mas ellos no escucharon; y Manasés los indujo á que hiciesen más mal que las gentes que Jehová destruyó delante de los hijos de Israel.

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

But they didn’t listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

E il Signore parlò per bocca de' profeti suoi servi, e disse:

Y habló Jehová por mano de sus siervos los profetas, diciendo:

Perchè Manasse re di Giuda ha commesse queste orrende abbominazioni, le quali passano tutto quello, che avanti a lui fecero gli Amorrei, e ha ancora indotto Giuda a prevaricare colle sue immondezze:

Por cuanto Manasés rey de Judá ha hecho estas abominaciones, y ha hecho más mal que todo lo que hicieron los Amorrheos que fueron antes de él, y también ha hecho pecar á Judá en sus ídolos;

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

“Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has also made Judah to sin with his idols;

Per questo così dice il Signore Dio d'Israele: Ecco che io pioverò tali sciagure sopra Gerusalemme, e sopra Giuda, che a chiunque ne udirà parlare fischieranno ambedue le orecchie.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: He aquí yo traigo tal mal sobre Jerusalem y sobre Judá, que el que lo oyere, le retiñirán ambos oídos.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

E sopra Gerusalemme stenderò la corda, che stesi sopra Samaria, e il peso della casa di Achab; e ripulirò Gerusalemme come suol ripulirsi una tavoletta (da scrivere), e per ripulirla volgerò, e rivolgerò lo stile sopra di essa.

Y extenderé sobre Jerusalem el cordel de Samaria, y el plomo de la casa de Achâb: y yo limpiaré á Jerusalem como se limpia una escudilla, que después que la han limpiado, la vuelven sobre su haz.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

E io lascerò in abbandono gli avanzi del mio retaggio, e li darò in potere de' lor nemici, e saranno spersi, e fatti preda di tutti i loro avversari;

Y desampararé las reliquias de mi heredad, y entregarlas he en manos de sus enemigos; y serán para saco y para robo á todos sus adversarios;

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

Perchè eglino han fatto il male dinanzi a me, e han continuato ad irritarmi dal giorno, in cui i padri loro uscirono dall'Egitto fino al di d'oggi;

Por cuanto han hecho lo malo en mis ojos, y me han provocado á ira, desde el día que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta hoy.

Manasse di più sparse del sangue innocente senza misura, fino ad inondare Gerusalemme: senza contare i peccati, ch'ei fe' commettere a Giuda, facendo il male nel cospetto del Signore.

Fuera de esto, derramó Manasés mucha sangre inocente en gran manera, hasta henchir á Jerusalem de cabo á cabo: además de su pecado con que hizo pecar á Judá, para que hiciese lo malo en ojos de Jehová.

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Il resto poi delle azioni di Manasse, e tutto quello, ch'ei fece, e il peccato, che egli commise, queste cose non son elleno scritte nel diario de' fatti dei re di Giuda?

Lo demás de los hechos de Manasés, y todas las cosas que hizo, y su pecado que cometió, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

E si addormentò Manasse coi padri suoi, e fu sepolto nell'orto di sua casa, nell'orto di Oza: e succedette a lui nel regno Amon suo figliuolo.

De veinte y dos años era Amón cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó dos años en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fué Mesalemeth hija de Harus de Jotba.

Ed egli fece il male nel cospetto del Signore, come avea fatto Manasse suo padre,

E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como había hecho Manasés su padre.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

E imitò in tutto, e per tutto il padre suo, e servì agli idoli immondi, come avea servito il padre suo, e gli adorò.

E abbandonò il Signore Dio de' padri suoi, e non battè le vie del Signore.

And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

E i suoi servi gli tesero insidie, e uccisero il re in sua casa.

Y los siervos de Amón conspiraron contra él, y mataron al rey en su casa.

Ma il popolo del paese fece morire tutti quelli, che avean congiurato contro del re Amon, e dichiararono re in sua vece Josia suo figliuolo.

Entonces el pueblo de la tierra hirió á todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón; y puso el pueblo de la tierra por rey en su lugar á Josías su hijo.

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

Ed ei fu sepolto nella sua sepoltura, nell'orto di Oza: e Josia suo figliuolo gli succedette nel regno. Josia ristora il tempio, e il culto di Dio: consulta il Signore intorno al libro del Deuteronomio, che si era trovato, e gli è risposto, che le calamità in esso descritte cadranno sopra Giuda per aver i padri trascurato il culto di Dio; ma che prima egli morrà in pace.
