16Und Elia redete zum Könige: So spricht Jahwe: Darum, daß du Boten ausgeschickt hast, um den Baal-Sebub, den Gott von Ekron, zu befragen - es giebt wohl keinen Gott in Israel, dessen Ausspruch man einholen könnte? - so sollst du von dem Bette, auf das du gestiegen bist, nicht herabsteigen, sondern sterben sollst du!

16Y díjole: Así ha dicho Jehová: Pues que enviaste mensajeros á consultar á Baal-zebub dios de Ecrón, ¿no hay Dios en Israel para consultar en su palabra? No descenderás, por tanto, del lecho en que subiste, antes morirás de cierto.

16And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
World English Bible
16He said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”
