L'anno terzo di Osea figliuolo di Ela re d'Israele, regnò Ezechia figliuolo di Achaz re di Giuda.

EN el tercer año de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, comenzó á reinar Ezechîas hijo de Achâz rey de Judá.

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.

Egli avea venticinque anni quando cominciò a regnare; e ventinove anni regnò a Gerusalemme: la madre sua si nomò Abi figliuola di Zacharia.

Cuando comenzó á reinar era de veinticinco años, y reinó en Jerusalem veintinueve años. El nombre de su madre fué Abi hija de Zachârías.

Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah.

Ed egli fece quello, che era ben fatto nel cospetto del Signore, imitando in tutto Davidde suo padre.

Hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho David su padre.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did.

Egli rovinò i luoghi eccelsi, e spezzò le statue, e atterrò i boschetti, e fece in pezzi il serpente di bronzo fatto da Mosè, perchè sino a quel tempo i figliuoli a' Israele gli bruciavano incensi; ed ei chiamollo Nohestan.

El quitó los altos, y quebró las imágenes, y taló los bosques, é hizo pedazos la serpiente de bronce que había hecho Moisés, porque hasta entonces le quemaban perfumes los hijos de Israel; y llamóle por nombre Nehustán.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

Egli sua speranza ripose nel Signore Dio d'Israele: per la qual cosa nissuno fu simile a lui di tutti i re di Giuda, che venner di poi, e meno dei precedenti:

He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.

E stette unito al Signore, e non si dilungò da lui, e osservo i suoi comandamenti dati da lui a Mosè.

Porque se llegó á Jehová, y no se apartó de él, sino que guardó los mandamientos que Jehová prescribió á Moisés.

For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.

Per la qual cosa il Signore ancora era con lui, ed egli in tutto quello, che intraprendeva, si portava con prudenza. Egli ancor si sottrasse al giogo del re degli Assiri, e non fu servo di lui.

Y Jehová fué con él; y en todas las cosas á que salía prosperaba. El se rebeló contra el rey de Asiria, y no le sirvió.

And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.

Egli rovinò i Filistei fino a Gaza, e tutto il loro paese, dalle torri delle sentinelle fino alle città fortificate.

Hirió también á los Filisteos hasta Gaza y sus términos, desde las torres de las atalayas hasta la ciudad fortalecida.

He smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

l'anno quarto del re Ezechia, che era l'anno settimo di Osea figliuolo di Eia re d'Israele, Salmanasar re degli Assiri venne a Samaria, e la assediò.

En el cuarto año del rey Ezechîas, que era el año séptimo de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, subió Salmanasar rey de los Asirios contra Samaria, y cercóla.

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.

E la prese, imperocché di lì a tre anni, l'anno sesto di Ezechia, viene a dire, l'anno nono di Osea re a Israele, Samaria fu espugnata:

Y tomáronla al cabo de tres años; esto es, en el sexto año de Ezechîas, el cual era el año nono de Oseas rey de Israel, fué Samaria tomada.

And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.

E il re degli Assiri traportò Israele nella Assiria, e li pose in Hala, e in Habor, città dei Medi presso al fiume Gozan:

Y el rey de Asiria traspuso á Israel á Asiria, y púsolos en Hala, y en Habor, junto al río de Gozán, y en las ciudades de los Medos:

And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

Perchè eglino non ascoltarono la voce del Signore Dio loro, e trasgredirono il suo patto: non ascoltarono, e non fecer nulla di quello, che Mosè servo del Signore avea comandato.

Por cuanto no habían atendido la voz de Jehová su Dios, antes habían quebrantado su pacto; y todas las cosas que Moisés siervo de Jehová había mandado, ni las habían escuchado, ni puesto por obra.

Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.

L'anno decimo quarto del re Ezechia, Sennacherib re degli Assiri andò ad oste contro tutte le città forti di Giuda, e le espugnò.

Y á los catorce años del rey Ezechîas, subió Sennachêrib rey de Asiria contra todas las ciudades fuertes de Judá, y tomólas.

Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.

Allora Ezechia re di Giuda mandò ambasciadori al re degli Assiri a Lachis, facendogli dire: Ho peccato; vattene da me, e io mi obbligherò a tutto quello, che m'imporrai. E il re degli Assiri impose ad Ezechia re di Giuda trecento talenti d'argento, e trenta talenti d'oro.

Entonces Ezechîas rey de Judá envió á decir al rey de Asiria en Lachîs: Yo he pecado: vuélvete de mí, y llevaré todo lo que me impusieres. Y el rey de Asiria impuso á Ezechîas rey de Judá trescientos talentos de plata, y treinta talentos de oro.

And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

E il re Ezechia diede tutto l'argento, che si era trovato nella casa del Signore, e ne' tesori reali.

Dió por tanto Ezechîas toda la plata que fué hallada en la casa de Jehová, y en los tesoros de la casa real.

And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king’s house.

Allora fu, che Ezechia spezzò le porte del tempio del Signore, e le lame d'oro, che egli stesso vi aveva affisse, e le diede al re degli Assiri.

Entonces descompuso Ezechîas las puertas del templo de Jehová, y los quiciales que el mismo rey Ezechîas había cubierto de oro, y diólo al rey de Asiria.

At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.

Ma il re degli Assiri mando da Lachis Tharthan, e Rabsaris, e Rabsace al re Ezechia a Gerusalemme con una forte squadra: e questi vennero a Gerusalemme, e si fermarono presso l'acquidotto della peschiera superiore, che è sulla strada del campo del Gualchieraio.

Después el rey de Asiria envió al rey Ezechîas, desde Lachîs contra Jerusalem, á Thartán y á Rabsaris y á Rabsaces, con un grande ejército: y subieron, y vinieron á Jerusalem. Y habiendo subido, vinieron y pararon junto al conducto del estanque de arriba, que es en el camino de la heredad del batanero.

And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rab-shakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller’s field.

E fecero chiamare il re, e andò a trovargli Eliacim figliuolo di Helcia, maggiordomo, e Sobna dottor della legge, e Joahe figliuolo di Asaph, segretario.

Llamaron luego al rey, y salió á ellos Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, que era mayordomo, y Sebna escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller.

And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.

E Rabsace disse loro: Voi direte ad Ezechia: Il re grande, il re degli Assiri dice così: Su qual fidanza ti fondi tu?

Y díjoles Rabsaces: Decid ahora á Ezechîas: Así dice el gran rey de Asiria: ¿Qué confianza es esta en que tú estás?

And Rab-shakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

Rabshakeh said to them, “Say now to Hezekiah, ‘The great king, the king of Assyria, says, “What confidence is this in which you trust?

Hai tu forse preso il partito di prepararti alla battaglia? In qual cosa ti confidi tu, che ardisci di ribellarti?

Dices, (por cierto palabras de labios): Consejo tengo y esfuerzo para la guerra. Mas ¿en qué confías, que te has rebelado contra mí?

Thou sayest, (but they are but vain words,) I have counsel and strength for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

You say (but they are but vain words), ‘There is counsel and strength for war.’ Now on whom do you trust, that you have rebelled against me?

Speri tu forse in quella canna fessa dell'Egitto, sopra la quale se uno vi si appoggi, ella rompendosi se gli ficcherà nella mano, e la forerà? Tale è Faraone re d'Egitto per tutti quelli, che si fidan di lui.

He aquí tú confías ahora en este bordón de caña cascada, en Egipto, en el que si alguno se apoyare, entrarále por la mano, y se le pasará. Tal es Faraón rey de Egipto, para todos los que en él confían.

Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.

Che se voi mi direte: Noi abbiam fiducia nel Signore Dio nostro: non è egli l'istesso, di cui Ezechia ha distrutti i luoghi eccelsi, e gli altari, e ha intimato a Giuda, e a Gerusalemme: Dinanzi a questo altare voi farete adorazione in Gerusalemme?

Y si me decís: Nosotros confiamos en Jehová nuestro Dios: ¿no es aquél cuyos altos y altares ha quitado Ezechîas, y ha dicho á Judá y á Jerusalem: Delante de este altar adoraréis en Jerusalem?

But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

But if you tell me, ‘We trust in the LORD our God,’ isn’t that he whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem’?

Ora adunque venite al signor mio il re degli Assiri, e darovvi duemila cavalline vedete voi se possiate aver chi li monti.

Por tanto, ahora yo te ruego que des rehenes á mi señor, el rey de Asiria, y yo te daré dos mil caballos, si tú pudieres dar jinetes para ellos.

Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.

E come potreste voi far fronte a un dei più piccoli satrapi del re mio signore. Ti confidi tu nell'Egitto a motivo dei cocchi, e dei cavalieri?

¿Cómo pues harás volver el rostro de un capitán el menor de los siervos de mi señor, aunque estés confiado en Egipto por sus carros y su gente de á caballo?

How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

Non è egli forse per volontà del Signore, che io son venuto in questi luoghi, per devastarli? Il Signore mi disse: Va in quel paese, e devastalo

Además, ¿he venido yo ahora sin Jehová á este lugar, para destruirlo? Jehová me ha dicho: Sube á esta tierra, y destrúyela.

Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Ma Heliacim figliuolo di Helcia, Sobna, e Joahe dissero a Rabsace: Ti preghiamo di parlare a noi tuoi servi in Siriaco, perocché noi intendiam questa lingua; e di non parlarci in lingua Giudea a sentita del popolo, che sta sulle mura.

Entonces dijo Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, y Sebna y Joah, á Rabsaces: Ruégote que hables á tus siervos siriaco, porque nosotros lo entendemos, y no hables con nosotros judaico á oídos del pueblo que está sobre el muro.

Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rab-shakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews’ language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, Shebnah, and Joah, said to Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants in the Syrian language, for we understand it. Don’t speak with us in the Jews’ language, in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.”

Ma Rabsace rispose, e disse loro: Mi ha egli forse mandato il signor mio al tuo signore, e a te a dir queste cose, e non piuttosto a quegli uomini, che stanno sopra le mura, per ridursi mangiare il proprio sterco, e a bere la propria urina con voi?

Y Rabsaces les dijo: ¿Hame enviado mi señor á ti y á tu señor para decir estas palabras, y no antes á los hombres que están sobre el muro, para comer su estiércol, y beber el agua de sus pies con vosotros?

But Rab-shakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

But Rabshakeh said to them, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you, to speak these words? Hasn’t he sent me to the men who sit on the wall, to eat their own dung, and to drink their own urine with you?”

Quindi stando in piedi Rabsace, sclamò ad alta voce in Ebreo, e disse: Udite le parole del gran re, del re degli Assiri:

Paróse luego Rabsaces, y clamó á gran voz en judaico, y habló, diciendo: Oid la palabra del gran rey, el rey de Asiria.

Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:

Il re dice così: Non vi seduca Ezechia; perocché egli non potrà liberarvi dalle mie mani.

Así ha dicho el rey: No os engañe Ezechîas, porque no os podrá librar de mi mano.

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:

The king says, ‘Don’t let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to deliver you out of his hand.

E non v'ispiri fidanza nel Signore, dicendo: Il Signore ci libererà certamente, e questa città non sarà data in potere del re degli Assiri.

Y no os haga Ezechîas confiar en Jehová, diciendo: De cierto nos librará Jehová, y esta ciudad no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Don’t let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, “The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Non date retta ad Ezechia; imperocché il re degli Assiri dice così: Convenite meco di quello, che è utile per voi, e venite fuora a trovarmi, e ognun di voi mangerà le sue uve, e i suoi fichi, e berete Te acque delle vostre cisterne:

No oigáis á Ezechîas, porque así dice el rey de Asiria: Haced conmigo paz, y salid á mí, y cada uno comerá de su vid, y de su higuera, y cada uno beberá las aguas de su pozo;

Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:

Don’t listen to Hezekiah.’ For the king of Assyria says, ‘Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and everyone of you eat from his own vine, and everyone from his own fig tree, and everyone drink water from his own cistern;

Sino a tanto che io venga, e vi trasporti in un paese simile al vostro paese, in una terra feconda, e abbondante di vino, in una terra di pane, e di uve, e di ulivi, e di olio, e di miele, e camperete, e non morrete: non date retta ad Ezechia, il quale v'inganna, dicendo: Il Signore ci libererà.

Hasta que yo venga, y os lleve á una tierra como la vuestra, tierra de grano y de vino, tierra de pan y de viñas, tierra de olivas, de aceite, y de miel; y viviréis, y no moriréis. No oigáis á Ezechîas, porque os engaña cuando dice: Jehová nos librará.

Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.

until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and of honey, that you may live and not die. Don’t listen to Hezekiah when he persuades you, saying, “The LORD will deliver us.”

Hann'eglino gli dei delle genti liberata la loro terra dal potere del re degli Assiri?

¿Acaso alguno de los dioses de las gentes ha librado su tierra de la mano del rey de Asiria?

Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Has any of the gods of the nations ever delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Dov'è egli il dio di Emath, e di Arphad? Dov'è il dio di Sepharvaim, di Ana, e di Ava? Hann'eglino liberata Samaria dal poter mio?

¿Dónde está el dios de Hamath, y de Arphad? ¿dónde el dios de Sepharvaim, de Hena, y de Hiva? ¿pudieron éstos librar á Samaria de mi mano?

Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?

Where are the gods of Hamath and of Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah? Have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?

Chi son eglino tra tutti quanti gli dei del mondo quelli, che abbiali liberato il lor paese dal poter mio, onde possa il Signore liberar Gerusalemme dalle mie mani?

¿Qué dios de todos los dioses de las provincias ha librado á su provincia de mi mano, para que libre Jehová de mi mano á Jerusalem?

Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?

E il popolo stette in silenzio, e non gli rispose nulla: perocché aveano avuto ordine dal re di non dargli risposta.

Y el pueblo calló, que no le respondieron palabra: porque había mandamiento del rey, el cual había dicho: No le respondáis.

But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

But the people stayed quiet, and answered him not a word; for the king’s commandment was, “Don’t answer him.”

Ed Eliacim figliuolo di Helcia, maggiordomo, e Sobna dottor della legge, e Joahe figliuolo di Asaph, segretario, tornarono ad Ezechia, stracciate le loro vesti, e riferirono a lui le parole di Rabsace. Ezechia, e Isaia rivoltisi al Signore, e pregandolo di liberargli a riflesso delle bestemmie di Rabsace, un angelo uccide 18,000 assiri. Sennacherib si dà alla fuga, ed è ucciso da' figliuoli nel tempio de suoi idoli.

Entonces Eliacim hijo de Hilcías, que era mayordomo, y Sebna el escriba, y Joah hijo de Asaph, canciller, vinieron á Ezechîas, rotos sus vestidos, y recitáronle las palabras de Rabsaces.

Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rab-shakeh.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, came with Shebna the scribe and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him Rabshakeh’s words.
