4Er war es, der den Höhendienst abschaffte, die Malsteine zertrümmerte, die Götzenbäume umhieb und die eherne Schlange zerschlug, die Mose angefertigt hatte; denn bis zu dieser Zeit hatten die Israeliten ihr immerfort geopfert, und man nannte sie Nehustan.
