14Então, Ezequias, rei de Judá, enviou uma mensagem ao rei da Assíria, que estava em Laquis, dizendo: "Eu te ofendi. Retira-te de mim. Tudo o que me impuseres eu suportarei". O rei da Assíria impôs a Ezequias, rei de Judá, o pagamento de trezentos talentos de prata e trinta talentos de ouro.

14And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
