34Jusqu'aujourd'hui leur pratique est conforme à leurs premiers usages ; ils ne rendent point un culte à l'Éternel seul ; et n'agissent point uniquement d'après leurs us, et coutumes, nom plus que d'après la Loi et le Commandement prescrit par l'Éternel aux fils de Jacob à qui Il avait donné le nom d'Israël.
