Und der König von Assyrien willfahrte ihm; er rückte heran gegen Damaskus, eroberte es und führte die Bewohner in die Verbannung nach Kir; den Rezin aber liess er töten.

Y atendióle el rey de Asiria; pues subió el rey de Asiria contra Damasco, y tomóla, y trasportó los moradores á Kir, y mató á Resín.

And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin.
