E Achaz mandò ambasciadori a Theglathphalasar re dell'Assiria per fargli dire: Io sono tuo servo, e tuo figliuolo: vieni, e salvami dalle mani del re di Siria, e dalle mani del re d'Israele, i quali si sono mossi contro di me.
Entonces Achâz envió embajadores á Tiglath-pileser rey de Asiria, diciendo: Yo soy tu siervo y tu hijo: sube, y defiéndeme de mano del rey de Siria, y de mano del rey de Israel, que se han levantado contra mí.
So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.
