17Sodann ließ der König Ahas die Beschläge an den Gestühlen herausbrechen und die Kessel von ihnen herunternehmen; auch das große Wasserbecken ließ er von den ehernen Rindern, auf denen es ruhte, herabnehmen und es auf eine Unterlage von Steinen setzen.

17And king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brasen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stones.
