1Im Jahre siebenundzwanzig der Jahre Jerobeams, König von Israel, ward König Asarjah, der Sohn Amazjahs, des Königs von Judah.
2Er war sechzehn Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und regierte zweiundfünfzig Jahre in Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Jecholjahu aus Jerusalem.
3Und er tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovahs, nach allem, wie Amazjahu, sein Vater, getan hatte.
4Nur die Opferhöhen taten sie nicht weg; das Volk opferte und räucherte noch auf den Opferhöhen.
5Und Jehovah schlug den König, und er ward aussätzig bis an den Tag seines Todes, und wohnte im Siechhause; und Jotham, der Sohn des Königs, war über das Haus, er richtete das Volk des Landes.
6Und die übrige Geschichte Asarjahus, und alles, was er tat, ist es nicht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Judahs?
7Und Asarjah entschlief zu seinen Vätern und sie begruben ihn bei seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids, und Jotham, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Stelle.
8Im Jahre achtunddreißig der Jahre Asarjahus, des Königs von Judah, ward Sacharjahu, Sohn Jerobeams, König über Israel in Samaria sechs Monate.
9Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs, so wie seine Väter getan; er wich nicht ab von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
10Und es verschwor sich wider ihn Schallum, der Sohn des Jabesch, und schlug ihn vor dem Volke und tötete ihn, und ward König an seiner Stelle.
11Und die übrige Geschichte Sacharjahs, siehe, sie steht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Israels.
12Das ist das Wort Jehovahs, das er zu Jehu geredet und gesagt: Söhne des vierten Gliedes sollen dir auf dem Throne Israels sitzen: und es war also.
13Schallum, der Sohn des Jabesch, ward König im Jahre neununddreißig der Jahre Ussijahs, des Königs von Judah, und regierte einen Mond der Tage in Samaria.
14Und Menachem, der Sohn Gadis zog von Thirzah herauf, und kam nach Samaria und schlug Schallum, den Sohn des Jabesch, in Samaria und tötete ihn, und ward König an seiner Stelle.
15Und die übrige Geschichte Schallums, und die Verschwörung, in der er sich verschworen, siehe, sie stehen geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Israels.
16Da schlug Menachem Tiphsach und alles, was darin war, und dessen Grenzen von Thirzah an, daß es ihm nicht geöffnet hatte, und schlug es, und ließ alle ihre Schwangeren aufschlitzen.
17Im Jahre neununddreißig der Jahre Asarjahs, des Königs von Judah, ward Menachem, der Sohn Gadis, König über Israel, zehn Jahre in Samaria;
18Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs; er wich nicht ab von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte alle seine Tage.
19Phul, König von Aschur, kam über das Land, und Menachem gab dem Phul tausend Talente Silber, auf daß seine Hände mit ihm wären, um das Königtum in seiner Hand zu stärken.
20Und Menachem brachte das Geld heraus von Israel, von allen mächtig an Vermögen, um es dem König von Aschur zu geben, fünfzig Schekel Silber auf einen Mann; und der König von Aschur kehrte zurück und blieb nicht daselbst im Lande stehen.
21Und die übrige Geschichte Menachems, und alles, was er tat, ist es nicht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Israels?
22Und Menachem entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und sein Sohn Pekachjah ward König an seiner Stelle.
23Im Jahre fünfzig der Jahre von Asarjah, dem Könige Judahs, ward Pekachjah, der Sohn Menachems, zwei Jahre König über Israel in Samaria.
24Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs, Er wich nicht ab von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
25Und es verschwor sich wider ihn Pekach, der Sohn Remaljahus, sein Wagenkämpfer, und schlug ihn in Samaria im Palast des Hauses des Königs mit Argob und Arjah; und mit ihm waren fünfzig Männer von den Söhnen der Gileaditer, und sie töteten ihn, und er ward König an seiner Stelle.
26Und die übrige Geschichte Pekachjahs, und alles, was er tat, siehe, es steht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Israels.
27Im Jahr zweiundfünfzig der Jahre Asarjahs, König von Judah, ward Pekach, Remaljahus Sohn, König über Israel zwanzig Jahre in Samaria;
28Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovahs. Er wich nicht ab von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
29In den Tagen Pekachs, König von Israel, kam Tiglath Pileser, König von Aschur, und nahm Ijon und Abel-Beth-Maachah und Janoach und Kadesch und Chazor und das Gilead und das Galilah, alles Land Naphthali, und führte sie weg nach Aschur.
30Und Hoschea, der Sohn Elahs, verschwor sich in einer Verschwörung wider Pekach, den Sohn Remaljahus, und schlug ihn und tötete ihn, und ward König an seiner Stelle, im zwanzigsten Jahre von Jotham, dem Sohne des Ussijah.

32Im zweiten Jahre Pekachs, des Sohnes Remaljahus, König von Israel, ward König Jotham, der Sohn Ussijahus, König von Judah.
33Er war fünfundzwanzig Jahre alt, da er König wurde, und regierte sechzehn Jahre in Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Jeruscha, die Tochter Zadoks.
34Und er tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovahs, nach allem, was Ussijah, sein Vater, getan.
35Nur die Opferhöhen tat er nicht weg. Das Volk opferte und räucherte noch auf den Opferhöhen. Er baute das höhere am Hause Jehovahs.
36Und die übrige Geschichte Jothams, und alles, was er tat, ist es nicht geschrieben im Buche der Tagesgeschichte der Könige Judahs?
37In jenen Tagen fing Jehovah an, Rezin, den König Arams, und Pekach, den Sohn Remaljahus, wider Judah zu senden.
38Und Jotham entschlief zu seinen Vätern, und ward begraben bei seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters, und Achas, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Stelle.

1EN el año veintisiete de Jeroboam, rey de Israel, comenzó á reinar Azarías hijo de Amasías rey de Judá.
2Cuando comenzó á reinar era de dieciséis años, y cincuenta y dos años reinó en Jerusalem; el nombre de su madre fué Jecolía, de Jerusalem.
3E hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que su padre Amasías había hecho.
4Con todo eso los altos no se quitaron; que el pueblo sacrificaba aún y quemaba perfumes en los altos.
5Mas Jehová hirió al rey con lepra, y fué leproso hasta el día de su muerte, y habitó en casa separada, y Jotham hijo del rey tenía el cargo del palacio, gobernando al pueblo de la tierra.

10Contra él se conjuró Sallum hijo de Jabes, y lo hirió en presencia de su pueblo, y matólo, y reinó en su lugar.

12Y esta fué la palabra de Jehová que había hablado á Jehú, diciendo: Tus hijos hasta la cuarta generación se sentarán en el trono de Israel. Y fué así.
13Sallum hijo de Jabes comenzó á reinar en el año treinta y nueve de Uzzía rey de Judá, y reinó el tiempo de un mes en Samaria;
14Pues subió Manahem hijo de Gadi, de Thirsa, y vino á Samaria, é hirió á Sallum hijo de Jabes en Samaria, y matólo, y reinó en su lugar.

16Entonces hirió Manahem á Tiphsa, y á todos los que estaban en ella, y también sus términos desde Thirsa; é hirióla porque no le habían abierto; y abrió á todas sus preñadas.
17En el año treinta y nueve de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Manahem hijo de Gadi sobre Israel diez años, en Samaria.
18E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó en todo su tiempo de los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar á Israel.
19Y vino Phul rey de Asiria á la tierra; y dió Manahem á Phul mil talentos de plata porque le ayudara á confirmarse en el reino.
20E impuso Manahem este dinero sobre Israel, sobre todos los poderosos y opulentos: de cada uno cincuenta siclos de plata, para dar al rey de Asiria, y el rey de Asiria se volvió, y no se detuvo allí en la tierra.

25Y conspiró contra él Peka hijo de Remalías, capitán suyo, é hiriólo en Samaria, en el palacio de la casa real, en compañía de Argob y de Ariph, y con cincuenta hombres de los hijos de los Galaaditas; y matólo, y reinó en su lugar.

33Cuando comenzó á reinar era de veinticinco años, y reinó dieciséis años en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fué Jerusa hija de Sadoc.
34Y él hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová; hizo conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho su padre Uzzía.
35Con todo eso los altos no fueron quitados; que el pueblo sacrificaba aún, y quemaba perfumes en los altos. Edificó él la puerta más alta de la casa de Jehová.

37En aquel tiempo comenzó Jehová á enviar contra Judá á Resín rey de Siria, y á Peka hijo de Remalías.

1In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
3And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
4Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.
5And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
6And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
7So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
8In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
9And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

13Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
14For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
17In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
18And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
19And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

35Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.

37In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
38And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

14Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, came to Samaria, struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, killed him, and reigned in his place.
15Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16Then Menahem attacked Tiphsah and all who were in it and its border areas, from Tirzah. He attacked it because they didn’t open their gates to him, and he ripped up all their women who were with child.
17In the thirty ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel for ten years in Samaria.
18He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight. He didn’t depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
19Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

27In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria for twenty years.
28He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight. He didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
