1El año veintisiete de Jeroboam, rey de Israel, comenzó a reinar Azarías, hijo de Amasías, rey de Judá.
2Tenía diez y seis años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó cincuenta y dos años en Jerusalén. Su madre se llamaba Jecolía, de Jerusalén.
3Hizo lo que era recto a los ojos de Yahvé, siguiendo en todo el proceder de su padre Amasías.
4Pero no dejaron de existir los lugares altos; el pueblo siguió ofreciendo sacrificios y quemando incienso en los lugares altos.
5Y Yahvé hirió al rey, que estuvo leproso hasta el día de su muerte, y habitaba en una casa aislada. Entretanto Joatam, hijo del rey, gobernaba el palacio y juzgaba al pueblo del país.

7Azarías se durmió con sus padres, en la ciudad de David, y reinó en su lugar su hijo Joatam.
8El año treinta y ocho de Azarías, rey de Judá, Zacarías, hijo de Jeroboam, comenzó a reinar sobre Israel en Samaria. (Reinó) seis meses,
9e hizo lo que era malo a los ojos de Yahvé, así como lo habían hecho sus padres. No se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, que indujo a pecar a Israel.
10Conspiró contra él Sellum, hijo de Jabés, que lo hirió en Jibleam. Lo mató, y reinó en su lugar.
11Las demás cosas de Zacarías, he aquí que están escritas en el libro de los anales de los reyes de Israel.
12Así se cumplió la palabra que Yahvé había dicho a Jehú: “Tus hijos se sentarán en tu lugar sobre el trono de Israel hasta la cuarta generación.”
13Sellum, hijo de Jabés, comenzó a reinar el año treinta y nueve de Ocías, rey de Judá, y reinó durante un mes en Samaria.
14Pues subió Manahén, hijo de Gadí, desde Tirsá, y llegado a Samaria, hirió a Sellum, hijo de Jabés, en Samaria. Lo mató y reinó en su lugar.
15Las demás cosas de Sellum, y la conspiración que tramó, he aquí que esto está escrito en el libro de los anales de los reyes de Israel.
16Manahén devastó a Tapsá, y cuanto había en ella, y todo su territorio desde Tirsá. La devastó porque no le habían abierto (las puertas) e hizo rajar el vientre de todas las mujeres encintas.
17El año treinta y nueve de Azarías, rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Manahén, hijo de Gadí, sobre Israel. (Reinó) diez años en Samaria,
18e hizo lo que era malo a los ojos de Yahvé. En toda su vida no se apartó de ninguno de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, que había hecho pecar a Israel.
19Cuando Ful, rey de Asiria, vino al país, le dio Manahén mil talentos de plata para que le ayudase en afianzar el reino en su mano.
20Para dar (este dinero) al rey de Asiria, exigió Manahén la cantidad respectiva a todos los que en Israel poseían grandes bienes: cincuenta siclos de plata a cada uno. Entonces el rey de Asiria se volvió, y no se detuvo allí en el país.

22Manahén se durmió con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar su hijo Faceia.
23El año cincuenta de Azarías, rey de Judá, Faceia, hijo de Manahén, comenzó a reinar sobre Israel, en Samaria. (Reinó) dos años,
24e hizo lo que era malo a los ojos de Yahvé. No se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, que había hecho pecar a Israel.
25Conspiró contra él Facee, hijo de Romelías, uno de sus capitanes, que lo hirió en Samaria, juntamente con Argob y Aryé, en la fortaleza de la casa del rey, teniendo consigo cincuenta hombres de los hijos de Galaad. Le dio muerte y reinó en su lugar.

27El año cincuenta y dos de Amasías, rey de Judá, Facee, hijo de Romelías, comenzó a reinar sobre Israel, en Samaria. (Reinó) veinte años.
28Hizo lo que era malo a los ojos de Yahvé, y no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, que hizo pecar a Israel.
29En los días de Facee, rey de Israel, vino Teglatfalasar, rey de Asiria, que tomó a Iyón, Abel-Betmaacá, Janoé, Cades, Hasor, Galaad, y la Galilea, toda la tierra de Neftalí, y llevó los (habitantes) a Asiria.
30Oseas, hijo de Elá, tramó una conspiración contra Facee, hijo de Romelías, lo hirió y lo mató. Después reinó en su lugar, en el año veinte de Joatam, hijo de Ocías.

32El año segundo de Facee, hijo de Romelías, rey de Israel, comenzó a reinar Joatam, hijo de Ocías, rey de Judá.
33Tenía veinticinco años cuando empezó a reinar, y reinó diez y seis años en Jerusalén. Su madre se llamaba Jerusá, hija de Sadoc.
34Hizo lo que era recto a los ojos de Yahvé, obrando en todo según el proceder de su padre Ocías.
35Pero no dejaron de existir los lugares altos; el pueblo siguió ofreciendo sacrificios y quemando incienso en los lugares altos. Fue él quien edificó la puerta superior de la Casa de Yahvé.

37En ese tiempo comenzó Yahvé a enviar contra Judá a Rasín, rey de Siria, y a Facee, hijo de Romelías.
38Joatam se durmió con sus padres, y fue sepultado con sus padres en la ciudad de David, su padre. En su lugar reinó su hijo Acaz.

3E hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que su padre Amasías había hecho.
4Con todo eso los altos no se quitaron; que el pueblo sacrificaba aún y quemaba perfumes en los altos.
5Mas Jehová hirió al rey con lepra, y fué leproso hasta el día de su muerte, y habitó en casa separada, y Jotham hijo del rey tenía el cargo del palacio, gobernando al pueblo de la tierra.

13Sallum hijo de Jabes comenzó á reinar en el año treinta y nueve de Uzzía rey de Judá, y reinó el tiempo de un mes en Samaria;
14Pues subió Manahem hijo de Gadi, de Thirsa, y vino á Samaria, é hirió á Sallum hijo de Jabes en Samaria, y matólo, y reinó en su lugar.

16Entonces hirió Manahem á Tiphsa, y á todos los que estaban en ella, y también sus términos desde Thirsa; é hirióla porque no le habían abierto; y abrió á todas sus preñadas.
17En el año treinta y nueve de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Manahem hijo de Gadi sobre Israel diez años, en Samaria.
18E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó en todo su tiempo de los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar á Israel.
19Y vino Phul rey de Asiria á la tierra; y dió Manahem á Phul mil talentos de plata porque le ayudara á confirmarse en el reino.
20E impuso Manahem este dinero sobre Israel, sobre todos los poderosos y opulentos: de cada uno cincuenta siclos de plata, para dar al rey de Asiria, y el rey de Asiria se volvió, y no se detuvo allí en la tierra.

24E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar á Israel.
25Y conspiró contra él Peka hijo de Remalías, capitán suyo, é hiriólo en Samaria, en el palacio de la casa real, en compañía de Argob y de Ariph, y con cincuenta hombres de los hijos de los Galaaditas; y matólo, y reinó en su lugar.

27En el año cincuenta y dos de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Peka hijo de Remalías sobre Israel en Samaria; y reinó veinte años.

29En los días de Peka rey de Israel, vino Tiglath-pileser rey de los Asirios, y tomó á Ahión, Abel-beth-maachâ, y Janoa, y Cedes, y Asor, y Galaad, y Galilea, y toda la tierra de Nephtalí; y trasportólos á Asiria.

33Cuando comenzó á reinar era de veinticinco años, y reinó dieciséis años en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fué Jerusa hija de Sadoc.
34Y él hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová; hizo conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho su padre Uzzía.

1In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
3And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
4Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.
5And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
6And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
7So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

16Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
17In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
18And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
19And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

37In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.

14Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, came to Samaria, struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, killed him, and reigned in his place.

16Then Menahem attacked Tiphsah and all who were in it and its border areas, from Tirzah. He attacked it because they didn’t open their gates to him, and he ripped up all their women who were with child.
17In the thirty ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel for ten years in Samaria.
18He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight. He didn’t depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
19Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

38Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in his father David’s city; and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
