25Da verschwor sich gegen ihn Pekach, Remaljas Sohn, sein Adjutant, und schlug ihn zu Samaria in der Burg des Königshauses, samt fünfzig Männern von den Söhnen der Gileaditer aus Argob und Areopolis. So tötete er ihn und ward an seiner Statt König.
