7Da berief der König Joas den Priester Jojada und die (andern) Priester und sprach zu ihnen: Warum bessert ihr die Schäden am Tempel nicht aus? Von nun an sollt ihr kein Geld von euren Bekannten mehr entgegennehmen, sondern sollt es hergeben, die Schäden am Tempel auszubessern.

7Llamando entonces el rey Joas al pontífice Joiada y á los sacerdotes, díjoles: ¿Por qué no reparáis las aberturas del templo? Ahora pues, no toméis más el dinero de vuestros familiares, sino dadlo para reparar las roturas del templo.

7Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.

7Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests, and said to them, “Why aren’t you repairing the damage to the house? Now therefore take no more money from your treasurers, but deliver it for repair of the damage to the house.”
