19nahm Jehoas, der König von Juda, alle die Weihegaben, die seine Ahnherren, Josaphat, Jehoram und Ahasjahu, die Könige von Juda, Jahwe geweiht hatten, und seine eigenen Weihegaben, sowie alles Gold, das sich in den Schatzkammern des Tempels Jahwes und des königlichen Palastes vorfand, und sandte es Hasael, dem Könige von Aram. Da stand er von dem Angriff auf Jerusalem ab.
