18Entonces todos los habitantes de la tierra fueron a la casa de Baal y la derribaron, sus altares y sus imágenes se rompieron en pedazos, y Matan, el sacerdote de Baal, lo mataron ante los altares. Y el sacerdote puso supervisores sobre él templo del Señor.

18Y todo el pueblo de la tierra entró en el templo de Baal, y derribáronlo: asimismo despedazaron enteramente sus altares y sus imágenes, y mataron á Mathán sacerdote de Baal delante de los altares. Y el sacerdote puso guarnición sobre la casa de Jehová.

18And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD.
