1Como cooperadores de Deus, nós imploramos a vocês que não desprezem essa mensagem maravilhosa da graça de Deus.
2Pois Deus diz: “Seu clamor chegou a mim numa época favorável, quando as portas do acolhimento estavam bem abertas. Eu ajudei a você num dia quando a salvação estava sendo oferecida”. Agora mesmo Deus está pronto a dar-lhes acolhida. Hoje é o dia da salvação!
3Nós procuramos viver de tal maneira que ninguém jamais fique ofendido ou se retraia de buscar o Senhor pelo modo como agimos, a fim de que ninguém possa encontrar falta em nós, e nossa mensagem caia em descrédito!
4De fato, em tudo o que fazemos procuramos mostrar que somos verdadeiros servos de Deus. Suportamos, com toda a paciência, o sofrimento, a fadiga e as aflições de toda espécie.
5Já fomos espancados, fomos postos em prisão, enfrentamos multidões furiosas, trabalhamos até a exaustão, ficamos acordados em noites insones de vigília e estivemos sem ter o que comer.
6Já demonstramos que somos aquilo que afirmamos ser, por meio das nossas vidas íntegras, por meio da nossa pureza, conhecimento, paciência e bondade. Temos sido amorosos e cheios do Espírito Santo.
7Temos sido verdadeiros, com o poder de Deus ajudando-nos em tudo quanto fazemos; batalhamos com as armas da justiça, armas de defesa e armas de ataque.
8Permanecemos leais ao Senhor, quer os outros nos honrem ou nos desonrem, quer nos difamem ou nos elogiem. Somos sinceros, porém nos chamam de mentirosos.
9Somos tratados como desconhecidos, embora sejamos conhecidos por todos; vivemos à beira da morte, mas eis-nos aqui, ainda bem vivos. Temos sido maltratados, porém guardados da morte.
10Nossos corações doem, mas ao mesmo tempo temos a alegria do Senhor. Somos pobres, porém damos ricos presentes espirituais aos outros. Nada nos pertence, mas na verdade possuímos tudo.
11Meus queridos amigos de Corinto! Eu contei-lhes tudo quanto sentia; eu os amo de todo o coração.
12Qualquer frieza que haja entre nós não é por falta de amor de minha parte, mas vocês estão limitando o amor que têm por nós.
13Eu lhes falo agora como se vocês fossem verdadeiramente meus filhos. Abram seus corações para nós! Retribuam o nosso amor!
14Não entrem debaixo do mesmo jugo daqueles que não amam o Senhor, pois que tem o povo de Deus em comum com o povo do pecado? Como pode a luz conviver com as trevas?
15E que harmonia pode haver entre Cristo e o diabo? Como pode um crente ser companheiro de alguém que não crê?
16E que união pode existir entre o templo de Deus e os ídolos? Pois vocês são o templo de Deus, a casa do Deus vivo, e Deus disse a respeito de vocês: “Eu morarei neles e andarei entre eles; serei seu Deus e eles serão meu povo”.
17É por isso que o Senhor disse: “Larguem deles; separem-se deles; não toquem nas suas coisas imundas, e eu receberei vocês”,
18“Eu serei um Pai para vocês, e vocês serão meus filhos e minhas filhas, diz o Senhor Todo-poderoso”.

1Y ASÍ nosotros, como ayudadores juntamente con él, os exhortamos también á que no recibáis en vano la gracia de Dios,
2(Porque dice: En tiempo aceptable te he oído, y en día de salud te he socorrido: he aquí ahora el tiempo aceptable; he aquí ahora el día de salud:)
3No dando á nadie ningún escándalo, porque el ministerio nuestro no sea vituperado:
4Antes habiéndonos en todas cosas como ministros de Dios, en mucha paciencia, en tribulaciones, en necesidades, en angustias;
5En azotes, en cárceles, en alborotos, en trabajos, en vigilias, en ayunos;
6En castidad, en ciencia, en longanimidad, en bondad, en Espíritu Santo, en amor no fingido;
7En palabra de verdad, en potencia de Dios, en armas de justicia á diestro y á siniestro;
8Por honra y por deshonra, por infamia y por buena fama; como engañadores, mas hombres de verdad;
9Como ignorados, mas conocidos; como muriendo, mas he aquí vivimos; como castigados, mas no muertos;
10Como doloridos, mas siempre gozosos; como pobres, mas enriqueciendo á muchos; como no teniendo nada, mas poseyéndolo todo.
11Nuestra boca está abierta á vosotros, oh Corintios: nuestro corazón es ensanchado.
12No estáis estrechos en nosotros, mas estáis estrechos en vuestras propias entrañas.
13Pues, para corresponder al propio modo (como á hijos hablo), ensanchaos también vosotros.
14No os juntéis en yugo con los infieles: porque ¿qué compañía tiene la justicia con la injusticia? ¿y qué comunión la luz con las tinieblas?
15¿Y qué concordia Cristo con Belial? ¿ó qué parte el fiel con el infiel?
16¿Y qué concierto el templo de Dios con los ídolos? porque vosotros sois el templo del Dios viviente, como Dios dijo: Habitaré y andaré en ellos; y seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
17Por lo cual salid de en medio de ellos, y apartaos, dice el Señor, y no toquéis lo inmundo; y yo os recibiré,
18Y seré á vosotros Padre, y vosotros me seréis á mí hijos é hijas, dice el Señor Todopoderoso.

1We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
3Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
9As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

1Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
2For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
3We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,
4but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,
5in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings,
6in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
7in the word of truth, in the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true,
9as unknown and yet well known, as dying and behold—we live, as punished and not killed,
10as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
11Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged.
12You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
13Now in return—I speak as to my children—you also open your hearts.
14Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
15What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?
16What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”
17Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.
18I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
