2 Corintios 4

1Por lo cual teniendo nosotros este ministerio de predicar la nueva ley, en virtud de la misericordia que hemos alcanzado de Dios, no decaemos de ánimo;
2antes bien desechamos lejos de nosotros las ocultas infamias o disimulos vergonzosos de los falsos hermanos, no procediendo con artificio, ni alterando la palabra de Dios, sino alegando únicamente en abono nuestro para con todos aquellos que juzguen de nosotros según su conciencia, la sinceridad con que predicamos la verdad delante de Dios.
3Que si todavía nuestra buena nueva está encubierto, es solamente para los que se pierden para quienes está encubierta;
4para esos incrédulos cuyos entendimientos ha cegado el Dios de este siglo, para que no les alumbre la luz de la buena nueva de la gloria de Cristo , el cual es la imagen de Dios.
5Porque no nos predicamos a nosotros mismos, sino a Jesucristo, Señor nuestro, haciéndonos siervos vuestros por amor de Jesús .
6Porque Dios, que dijo que la luz saliese o brillase de en medio de las tinieblas, él mismo ha hecho brillar su claridad en nuestros corazones, a fin de que nosotros podamos iluminar a los demás por medio del conocimiento de la gloria de Dios, según que ella resplandece en Jesucristo.
7Mas este tesoro lo llevamos en vasos de barro, frágil y quebradizo; para que se reconozca que la grandeza del poder que se ve en nosotros es de Dios y no nuestra.
8Nos vemos acosados de toda suerte de tribulaciones, pero no por eso perdemos el ánimo; nos hallamos en grandes apuros, mas no desesperados, o sin recursos;
9somos perseguidos, mas no abandonados; abatidos, mas no enteramente perdidos.
10Traemos siempre representada en nuestro cuerpo por todas partes la mortificación de Jesús , a fin de que la vida de Jesús se manifieste también en nuestros cuerpos.
11Porque nosotros, bien que vivimos, somos continuamente entregados en manos de la muerte por amor de Jesús ; para que la vida de Jesús se manifieste así mismo en nuestra carne mortal.
12Así es que la muerte imprime sus efectos en nosotros, mas en vosotros resplandece la vida.
13Pero teniendo un mismo espíritu de fe que David, quien según está escrito decía: Creí, por eso hablé con confianza, nosotros también creemos, y por eso hablamos,
14estando ciertos de que quien resucitó a Jesús , nos resucitará también a nosotros con Jesús , y nos colocará con vosotros en su gloria.
15Pues todas las cosas que pasan en nosotros se hacen por causa de vosotros, a fin de que la gracia esparcida con abundancia, sirva a aumentar la gloria de Dios por medio de las acciones de gracias que le tributarán muchos.
16Por lo cual no desmayamos; antes aunque en nosotros el hombre exterior o el cuerpo se vaya desmoronando, el interior o el espíritu se va renovando de día en día.
17Porque las aflicciones tan breves y tan ligeras de la vida presente nos producen el eterno peso de una sublime e incomparable gloria,
18y así no ponemos nosotros la mira en las cosas visibles, sino en las invisibles. Porque las que se ven, son transitorias; mas las que no se ven, son eternas.

1POR lo cual teniendo nosotros esta administración según la misericordia que hemos alcanzado, no desmayamos;
2Antes quitamos los escondrijos de vergüenza, no andando con astucia, ni adulterando la palabra de Dios, sino por manifestación de la verdad encomendándonos á nosotros mismos á toda conciencia humana delante de Dios.
3Que si nuestro evangelio está aún encubierto, entre los que se pierden está encubierto:
4En los cuales el dios de este siglo cegó los entendimientos de los incrédulos, para que no les resplandezca la lumbre del evangelio de la gloria de Cristo, el cual es la imagen de Dios.
5Porque no nos predicamos á nosotros mismos, sino á Jesucristo, el Señor; y nosotros vuestros siervos por Jesús.
6Porque Dios, que mandó que de las tinieblas resplandeciese la luz, es el que resplandeció en nuestros corazones, para iluminación del conocimiento de la gloria de Dios en la faz de Jesucristo.
7Tenemos empero este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la alteza del poder sea de Dios, y no de nosotros:
8Estando atribulados en todo, mas no angustiados; en apuros, mas no desesperamos;
9Perseguidos, mas no desamparados; abatidos, mas no perecemos;
10Llevando siempre por todas partes la muerte de Jesús en el cuerpo, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestros cuerpos.
11Porque nosotros que vivimos, siempre estamos entregados á muerte por Jesús, para que también la vida de Jesús sea manifestada en nuestra carne mortal.
12De manera que la muerte obra en nosotros, y en vosotros la vida.
13Empero teniendo el mismo espíritu de fe, conforme á lo que está escrito: Creí, por lo cual también hablé: nosotros también creemos, por lo cual también hablamos;
14Estando ciertos que el que levantó al Señor Jesús, á nosotros también nos levantará por Jesús, y nos pondrá con vosotros.
15Porque todas estas cosas padecemos por vosotros, para que abundando la gracia por muchos, en el hacimiento de gracias sobreabunde á gloria de Dios.
16Por tanto, no desmayamos: antes aunque este nuestro hombre exterior se va desgastando, el interior empero se renueva de día en día.
17Porque lo que al presente es momentáneo y leve de nuestra tribulación, nos obra un sobremanera alto y eterno peso de gloria;
18No mirando nosotros á las cosas que se ven, sino á las que no se ven: porque las cosas que se ven son temporales, mas las que no se ven son eternas.
King James Version
1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
World English Bible
1Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
2But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,
4in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
5For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
6seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
8We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12So then death works in us, but life in you.
13But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore we also speak,
