Béni soit Dieu, qui est aussi le Père de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, le Père des compassions et le Dieu de toute consolation,

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

El cual nos consuela en todas nuestras tribulaciones, para que podamos también nosotros consolar á los que están en cualquiera angustia, con la consolación con que nosotros somos consolados de Dios.
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

car, de même que les souffrances de Christ surabondent en nous, c'est de même par Christ que surabonde aussi notre consolation.
Porque de la manera que abundan en nosotros las aflicciones de Cristo, así abunda también por el mismo Cristo nuestra consolación.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
Mais, si nous sommes exposés à la tribulation, c'est pour votre consolation, laquelle résulte de votre patience à supporter les mêmes souffrances que nous souffrons nous-mêmes, et votre espérance demeure ferme en vous ; si nous sommes consolés, c'est pour votre consolation et votre salut,
Mas si somos atribulados, es por vuestra consolación y salud; la cual es obrada en el sufrir las mismas aflicciones que nosotros también padecemos: ó si somos consolados, es por vuestra consolación y salud;
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
sachant que, de même que vous participez aux souffrances, vous participez aussi à la consolation.
Y nuestra esperanza de vosotros es firme; estando ciertos que como sois compañeros de las aflicciones, así también lo sois de la consolación.
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so you are also of the comfort.
Nous ne voulons pas en effet que vous ignoriez, frères, quant à ce qui concerne la tribulation à laquelle nous avons été exposés en Asie, que nous avons eu à supporter un fardeau entièrement au-dessus de nos forces, de telle sorte que nous avons désespéré même de conserver la vie,
Porque hermanos, no queremos que ignoréis de nuestra tribulación que nos fué hecha en Asia; que sobremanera fuimos cargados sobre nuestras fuerzas de tal manera que estuviésemos en duda de la vida.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
For we don’t desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia: that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
ou plutôt, nous portions en nous-mêmes la sentence de mort, afin de ne point placer notre confiance en nous, mais en Dieu qui ressuscite les morts ;
Mas nosotros tuvimos en nosotros mismos respuesta de muerte, para que no confiemos en nosotros mismos, sino en Dios que levanta los muertos:
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,
c'est Lui qui nous a délivrés et qui nous délivrera d'une mort semblable, Lui de qui nous espérons qu'il nous en délivrera encore,
El cual nos libró, y libra de tanta muerte; en el cual esperamos que aun nos librará;
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver, on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us,
vous-mêmes aussi coopérant pour nous par la prière, afin que la grâce, obtenue pour nous par plusieurs personnes, fournisse à plusieurs l'occasion de rendre à votre sujet des actions de grâces.
Ayudándonos también vosotros con oración por nosotros, para que por la merced hecha á nos por respeto de muchos, por muchos sean hechas gracias por nosotros.
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift given to us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf.
En effet voici ce qui nous donne le droit de nous enorgueillir : Notre conscience rend témoignage que c'est avec une sainteté et une pureté qui viennent de Dieu, et non avec une sagesse charnelle, mais selon la grâce de Dieu, que nous nous sommes conduits dans le monde, et plus encore parmi vous ;
Porque nuestra gloria es esta: el testimonio de nuestra conciencia, que con simplicidad y sinceridad de Dios, no con sabiduría carnal, mas con la gracia de Dios, hemos conversado en el mundo, y muy más con vosotros.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
car nous ne vous écrivons pas autre chose que ce que vous lisez. Mais j'espère que vous reconnaîtrez jusques à la fin,
Porque no os escribimos otras cosas de las que leéis, ó también conocéis: y espero que aun hasta el fin las conoceréis:
For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
For we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end—
comme déjà vous l'avez fait pour nous en partie, que vous avez sujet de vous enorgueillir de nous, comme nous aussi de vous, dans la journée de notre Seigneur Jésus.
Como también en parte habéis conocido que somos vuestra gloria, así como también vosotros la nuestra, para el día del Señor Jesús.
As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
as also you acknowledged us in part—that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
Et c'était avec cette persuasion, que je voulais me rendre premièrement auprès de vous, afin que vous eussiez à deux reprises de la joie,
Y con esta confianza quise primero ir á vosotros, para que tuvieseis una segunda gracia;
And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit,
et de chez vous passer en Macédoine, puis de Macédoine revenir auprès de vous, et être escorté par vous en Judée.
Y por vosotros pasar á Macedonia, y de Macedonia venir otra vez á vosotros, y ser vuelto de vosotros á Judea.
And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.
and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
Est-ce qu'en ayant cette volonté, j'ai réellement fait preuve de légèreté d'esprit ? Ou bien, les projets que je forme, est-ce que je les forme selon la chair, afin d'avoir à ma disposition le oui, oui, et le non, non ?
Así que, pretendiendo esto, ¿usé quizá de liviandad? ó lo que pienso hacer, ¿piénsolo según la carne, para que haya en mí Sí y No?
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
When I therefore planned this, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be the “Yes, yes” and the “No, no?”
Mais, grâce à la fidélité de Dieu, les paroles que nous vous adressons ne sont pas oui et non ;
Antes, Dios fiel sabe que nuestra palabra para con vosotros no es Sí y No.
But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
But as God is faithful, our word toward you was not “Yes and no.”
car le fils de Dieu, Jésus-Christ, qui a été prêché par nous au milieu de vous, par moi, dis-je, et par Silvanus et par Timothée, n'a pas été oui et non, mais c'est oui qui est en lui ;
Porque el Hijo de Dios, Jesucristo, que por nosotros ha sido entre vosotros predicado, por mí y Silvano y Timoteo, no ha sido Sí y No; mas ha sido Sí en él.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
car toutes les promesses de Dieu ont en lui leur oui ; c'est pourquoi c'est aussi par lui que l'Amen est prononcé par nous à la gloire de Dieu ;
Porque todas las promesas de Dios son en él Sí, y en él Amén, por nosotros á gloria de Dios.
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.
mais celui qui nous affermit ainsi que vous en Christ, et qui vous a oints,
Y el que nos confirma con vosotros en Cristo, y el que nos ungió, es Dios;
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God,
c'est Dieu, qui nous a aussi scellés et qui a mis dans nos cœurs le gage de son esprit.
El cual también nos ha sellado, y dado la prenda del Espíritu en nuestros corazones.
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
who also sealed us and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
Pour moi, j'atteste Dieu sur mon âme, que c'est afin de vous épargner que je ne suis pas encore revenu à Corinthe ;
Mas yo llamo á Dios por testigo sobre mi alma, que por ser indulgente con vosotros no he pasado todavía á Corinto.
Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.
But I call God for a witness to my soul, that to spare you, I didn’t come to Corinth.
non pas que nous dominions sur votre foi, mais nous devons coopérer à votre joie, car quant à la foi vous êtes fermes.
No que nos enseñoreemos de vuestra fe, mas somos ayudadores de vuestro gozo: porque por la fe estáis firmes.
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
We don’t control your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.
