Esta es la tercera vez que yo vengo a ustedes. "CADA ACUSACIÓN DEBE ESTABLECERSE POR LA EVIDENCIA DE DOS O TRES TESTIGOS."
ESTA tercera vez voy á vosotros. En la boca de dos ó de tres testigos consistirá todo negocio.
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Ya les he dicho a aquellos que han pecado antes y a todos los demás cuando yo estuve ahí la segunda vez, y lo digo otra vez: Cuando yo vuelva, no los libraré.
He dicho antes, y ahora digo otra vez como presente, y ahora ausente lo escribo á los que antes pecaron, y á todos los demás, que si voy otra vez, no perdonaré;
I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:
I have warned previously, and I warn again, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, I write to those who have sinned before now and to all the rest that if I come again, I will not spare,
Yo les digo esto a ustedes porque ustedes están buscando evidencia de que Cristo está hablando a través de mi. Él no es débil hacia ustedes. Al contrario, Él es poderoso en ustedes.
Pues buscáis una prueba de Cristo que habla en mí, el cual no es flaco para con vosotros, antes es poderoso en vosotros.
Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
seeing that you seek a proof of Christ who speaks in me who is not weak, but is powerful in you.
Porque Él fue crucificado en debilidad, pero Él está vivo por el poder de Dios. Pues nosotros también somos débiles en Él, pero viviremos con Él por el poder de Dios entre ustedes.
Porque aunque fué crucificado por flaqueza, empero vive por potencia de Dios. Pues también nosotros somos flacos con él, mas viviremos con él por la potencia de Dios para con vosotros.

Examínense a ustedes mismos para ver si ustedes están en la fe. Pruébense a ustedes mismos. ¿Acaso ustedes no se dan cuenta de esto acerca de ustedes mismos, de que Jesucristo está en ustedes? A menos que ustedes hayan fracasado la prueba. Él está, a menos que ustedes no estén aprobados.
Examinaos á vosotros mismos si estáis en fe; probaos á vosotros mismos. ¿No os conocéis á vosotros mismos, que Jesucristo está en vosotros? si ya no sois reprobados.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
Y yo estoy confiado de que ustedes reconozcan que nosotros no hemos fracasado.
Mas espero que conoceréis que nosotros no somos reprobados.
But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
But I hope that you will know that we aren’t disqualified.
Ahora nosotros oramos a Dios que ustedes no puedan hacer ningún mal. Yo no oro para que nosotros parezcamos haber aprobado la prueba. Por lo contrario, yo oro para que ustedes puedan hacer lo que es correcto, aunque nosotros podamos parecer haber fracasado en la prueba.
Y oramos á Dios que ninguna cosa mala hagáis; no para que nosotros seamos hallados aprobados, mas para que vosotros hagáis lo que es bueno, aunque nosotros seamos como reprobados.
Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

Pues nosotros no podemos hacer nada en contra de la verdad, sino solamente a favor de la verdad.
Porque ninguna cosa podemos contra la verdad, sino por la verdad.

Porque nosotros nos gozamos cuando somos débiles y ustedes son fuertes. También oramos para que ustedes sean hechos completos.
Por lo cual nos gozamos que seamos nosotros flacos, y que vosotros estéis fuertes; y aun deseamos vuestra perfección.
For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.
For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. We also pray for this: your becoming perfect.
Yo escribo estas cosas mientras estoy lejos de ustedes, para que cuando esté con ustedes no tenga que actuar duramente en el uso de mi autoridad, la cual el Señor me dio, para edificarles a ustedes y no derribarles.
Por tanto os escribo esto ausente, por no tratar presente con dureza, conforme á la potestad que el Señor me ha dado para edificación, y no para destrucción.
Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not deal sharply when present, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
Finalmente, hermanos y hermanas, ¡regocíjense! Trabajen para la restauración, sean alentados, estén de acuerdo el uno con el otro, vivan en paz. Y el Dios de amor y paz estará con ustedes.
Resta, hermanos, que tengáis gozo, seáis perfectos, tengáis consolación, sintáis una misma cosa, tengáis paz; y el Dios de paz y de caridad será con vosotros.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
