2 Corintios 11

Yo desearía que ustedes pudieran tolerarme en alguna tontería. ¡Pero realmente ustedes me están tolerando!

OJALÁ toleraseis un poco mi locura; empero toleradme.

Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.

I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness, but indeed you do bear with me.

Porque yo estoy celoso de ustedes. Yo tengo un celo de Dios por ustedes, desde que yo los comprometí en matrimonio con un esposo. Yo prometí presentarlos como una virgen pura a Cristo.

Pues que os celo con celo de Dios; porque os he desposado á un marido, para presentaros como una virgen pura á Cristo.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I promised you in marriage to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

Pero yo tengo miedo que de alguna manera, como la serpiente engañó a Eva con su astucia, que los pensamientos de ustedes puedan ser llevados por mal camino lejos de una sincera y pura devoción a Cristo.

Mas temo que como la serpiente engañó á Eva con su astucia, sean corrompidos así vuestros sentidos en alguna manera, de la simplicidad que es en Cristo.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Porque supongamos que alguien venga y proclame a otro Jesús que el que nosotros predicamos. O supongamos que ustedes reciban un espíritu diferente al que ustedes recibieron. O supongamos que ustedes reciban un evangelio distinto al que ustedes recibieron. ¡Ustedes toleran estas cosas bastante bien!

Porque si el que viene, predicare otro Jesús que el que hemos predicado, ó recibiereis otro espíritu del que habéis recibido, ú otro evangelio del que habéis aceptado, lo sufrierais bien.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we didn’t preach, or if you receive a different spirit which you didn’t receive, or a different “good news” which you didn’t accept, you put up with that well enough.

Porque yo pienso que yo no soy en lo mínimo inferior a aquellos supuestamente llamados eminentes apóstoles.

Cierto pienso que en nada he sido inferior á aquellos grandes apóstoles.

For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

For I reckon that I am not at all behind the very best apostles.

Pero aunque yo no esté adiestrado en dar discursos, yo no carezco de capacitación en el conocimiento. De todas las maneras y en todas las cosas, nosotros les hemos hecho saber esto a ustedes.

Porque aunque soy basto en la palabra, empero no en la ciencia: mas en todo somos ya del todo manifiestos á vosotros.

But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not unskilled in knowledge. No, in every way we have been revealed to you in all things.

¿Pequé yo al humillarme para que ustedes pudieran ser exaltados? Porque yo les prediqué gratuitamente a ustedes el evangelio de Dios.

¿Pequé yo humillándome á mí mismo, para que vosotros fueseis ensalzados, porque os he predicado el evangelio de Dios de balde?

Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God’s Good News free of charge?

Yo despojé a otras iglesias, aceptando apoyo de ellas para poder servirles a ustedes.

He despojado las otras iglesias, recibiendo salario para ministraros á vosotros.

I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

I robbed other assemblies, taking wages from them that I might serve you.

Cuando yo estuve con ustedes y estuve en necesidad, yo no fui carga para nadie. Porque mis necesidades fueron suplidas por los hermanos que vinieron de Macedonia. En todo me he guardado de ser una carga para ustedes, y seguiré haciendo eso.

Y estando con vosotros y teniendo necesidad, á ninguno fuí carga; porque lo que me faltaba, suplieron los hermanos que vinieron de Macedonia: y en todo me guardé de seros gravoso, y me guardaré.

And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

When I was present with you and was in need, I wasn’t a burden on anyone, for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my need. In everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will continue to do so.

Puesto que la verdad de Cristo está en mí, este alarde mío no será silenciado en las partes de Acaya.

Es la verdad de Cristo en mí, que esta gloria no me será cerrada en las partes de Acaya.

As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

As the truth of Christ is in me, no one will stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

¿Por qué? ¿Porque no los amo? Dios lo sabe.

¿Por qué? ¿porque no os amo? Dios lo sabe.

Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.

Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows.

Y lo que yo hago, lo seguiré haciendo, a fin de que yo pueda poner fin al reclamo de los que me critican y al reclamo por el cual ellos quieren jactarse, de que ellos sean hallados haciendo el mismo trabajo que nosotros hacemos.

Mas lo que hago, haré aún, para cortar la ocasión de aquellos que la desean, á fin de que en aquello que se glorían, sean hallados semejantes á nosotros.

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

But what I do, that I will continue to do, that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity, that in which they boast, they may be recognized just like us.

Porque tales personas son falsos apóstoles y obreros engañosos. Ellos se disfrazan como apóstoles de Cristo.

Porque éstos son falsos apóstoles, obreros fraudulentos, transfigurándose en apóstoles de Cristo.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles.

Y esto no es ninguna sorpresa, porque aún Satanás se disfraza a sí mismo como un ángel de luz.

Y no es maravilla, porque el mismo Satanás se transfigura en ángel de luz.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

No es una gran sorpresa si sus siervos también se disfrazan a ellos mismos como siervos de justicia. Su destino será el que sus obras merecen.

Así que, no es mucho si también sus ministros se transfiguran como ministros de justicia; cuyo fin será conforme á sus obras.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Yo digo de nuevo: Que nadie piense que yo soy un necio. Pero si ustedes lo hacen, recíbanme como a un necio para que yo pueda jactarme un poco.

Otra vez digo: Que nadie me estime ser loco; de otra manera, recibidme como á loco, para que aun me gloríe yo un poquito.

I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

I say again, let no one think me foolish. But if so, yet receive me as foolish, that I also may boast a little.

Lo que estoy diciendo sobre esta confianza jactanciosa no es aprobado por el Señor, sino que yo estoy hablando como un necio.

Lo que hablo, no lo hablo según el Señor, sino como en locura, con esta confianza de gloria.

That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

That which I speak, I don’t speak according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.

Ya que mucha gente se jacta según la carne, yo también me jactaré.

Pues que muchos se glorían según la carne, también yo me gloriaré.

Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

Seeing that many boast after the flesh, I will also boast.

Porque ustedes con alegría aguantan a los necios, ¡creyendo que ustedes mismos son sabios!

Porque de buena gana toleráis los necios, siendo vosotros sabios:

For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.

For you bear with the foolish gladly, being wise.

Porque ustedes soportan a alguien si él los esclaviza, si él los devora, si se aprovecha de ustedes, si él se considera mejor que ustedes, o si él los abofetea en la cara.

Porque toleráis si alguno os pone en servidumbre, si alguno os devora, si alguno toma, si alguno se ensalza, si alguno os hiere en la cara.

For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

For you bear with a man if he brings you into bondage, if he devours you, if he takes you captive, if he exalts himself, or if he strikes you on the face.

Yo diré avergonzado que nosotros fuimos muy débiles para hacer eso. Aún si alguno se jacta, estoy hablando como un necio, yo también me jactaré.

Dígolo cuanto á la afrenta, como si nosotros hubiésemos sido flacos. Empero en lo que otro tuviere osadía (hablo con locura), también yo tengo osadía.

I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

To my shame, I speak as though we had been weak. Yet in whatever way anyone is bold (I speak in foolishness), I am bold also.

¿Son ellos hebreos? Yo también. ¿Son ellos israelitas? Yo también. ¿Son ellos descendientes de Abraham? Yo también.

¿Son Hebreos? yo también. ¿Son Israelitas? yo también. ¿Son simiente de Abraham? también yo.

Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the offspring of Abraham? So am I.

¿Son ellos siervos de Cristo? (Yo hablo como si yo estuviera loco.) Yo soy más. Yo he estado en trabajos aún más duros, en muchas más prisiones, en golpizas sin medida, enfrentando muchos peligros de muerte.

¿Son ministros de Cristo? (como poco sabio hablo) yo más: en trabajos más abundante; en azotes sin medida; en cárceles más; en muertes, muchas veces.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as one beside himself.) I am more so: in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, and in deaths often.

De los judíos yo recibí cinco veces los "cuarenta azotes menos uno."

De los judíos cinco veces he recibido cuarenta azotes menos uno.

Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

Five times I received forty stripes minus one from the Jews.

Tres veces fui golpeado con varas. Una vez fui apedreado. Tres veces he naufragado. He pasado una noche y un día en alta mar.

Tres veces he sido azotado con varas; una vez apedreado; tres veces he padecido naufragio; una noche y un día he estado en lo profundo de la mar;

Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I suffered shipwreck. I have been a night and a day in the deep.

He estado en viajes frecuentes, en peligro de ríos, en peligro de ladrones, en peligro de mi propia gente, en peligro de los gentiles, en peligro en la ciudad, en peligro en el desierto, en peligro en el mar, en peligro de falsos hermanos.

En caminos muchas veces, peligros de ríos, peligros de ladrones, peligros de los de mi nación, peligros de los Gentiles, peligros en la ciudad, peligros en el desierto, peligros en la mar, peligros entre falsos hermanos;

In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

I have been in travels often, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea, perils among false brothers;

Yo he estado en trabajo duro y en apuros, en muchas noches sin dormir, en hambre y sed, muchas veces en ayunas, en frío y desnudez.

En trabajo y fatiga, en muchas vigilias, en hambre y sed, en muchos ayunos, en frío y en desnudez;

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness.

Aparte de todo lo demás, está la presión diaria sobre mí de mi ansiedad por todas las iglesias.

Sin otras cosas además, lo que sobre mí se agolpa cada día, la solicitud de todas las iglesias.

Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Besides those things that are outside, there is that which presses on me daily: anxiety for all the assemblies.

¿Quién es débil, y yo no soy débil? ¿A quién le han hecho tropezar, y yo no ardo de coraje?

¿Quién enferma, y yo no enfermo? ¿Quién se escandaliza, y yo no me quemo?

Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I don’t burn with indignation?

Si yo tengo que jactarme, yo me jactaré acerca de lo que muestra mis debilidades.

Si es menester gloriarse, me gloriaré yo de lo que es de mi flaqueza.

If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my weakness.

El Dios y Padre del Señor Jesús, Aquel Quien es alabado por siempre, ¡sabe que yo no miento!

El Dios y Padre del Señor nuestro Jesucristo, que es bendito por siglos, sabe que no miento.

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, he who is blessed forever more, knows that I don’t lie.

En Damasco, el gobernador bajo el Rey Aretas estaba vigilando la ciudad de Damasco para arrestarme.

En Damasco, el gobernador de la provincia del rey Aretas guardaba la ciudad de los Damascenos para prenderme;

In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

In Damascus the governor under King Aretas guarded the Damascenes’ city, desiring to arrest me.

Pero me bajaron en una canasta a través de una ventana en el muro y yo escapé de sus manos.

Y fuí descolgado del muro en un serón por una ventana, y escapé de sus manos.

And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

I was let down in a basket through a window by the wall, and escaped his hands.
