Salomón tenía cuatro mil establos para caballos y carruajes, y doce mil jinetes, los cuales él situó en las ciudades para los carruajes con él mismo en Jerusalén.

Tuvo también Salomón cuatro mil caballerizas para los caballos y carros, y doce mil jinetes, los cuales puso en las ciudades de los carros, y con el rey en Jerusalem.
