1Finalmente, a obra do templo do Senhor foi terminada. Então Salomão trouxe as ofertas que seu pai Davi havia dedicado ao Senhor. Elas foram guardadas em salas do tesouro do templo de Deus, ou seja, a prata, o ouro e todos os utensílios.
2Então Salomão reuniu em Jerusalém todas as autoridades de Israel e todos os líderes das tribos e dos grupos de famílias de Israel para a cerimônia da mudança da arca da aliança do Senhor que estava na Cidade de Davi, também conhecida como Sião, para o seu novo lugar no templo.
3Essa cerimônia se realizou com a presença de todos os homens de Israel no sétimo mês, na festa anual dos tabernáculos.
4Diante das autoridades de Israel, os levitas levantaram a arca
5e a levaram com o Tabernáculo, além de todos os utensílios sagrados do Tabernáculo. Os sacerdotes e os levitas levaram tudo.
6O rei Salomão e toda a congregação de Israel que estava ali reunida ofereceram sacrifícios de ovelhas e de bois, diante da arca. Era tão grande o número de animais que nem se podia contar!
7Os sacerdotes carregaram a arca da aliança do Senhor para a sala interior do templo, o Lugar Santíssimo, e a colocaram debaixo das asas dos querubins.
8As asas dos querubins se estendiam sobre a arca e cobriam a arca e as suas varas de madeira, que serviam para carregá-la.
9Essas varas eram tão compridas que as suas pontas eram vistas do santuário interno, mas não do lado de fora do templo. Essas varas ainda se achavam lá na ocasião em que estas palavras foram escritas.
10Não havia nada dentro da arca, além das duas tábuas de pedra que Moisés havia colocado ali quando esteve no monte Horebe, onde o Senhor havia feito uma aliança com o povo de Israel, na ocasião em que o povo saiu do Egito.
11Então os sacerdotes saíram do santuário. Todos eles haviam realizado o ato de purificação, sem levar em conta as obrigações pessoais de cada um.
12E todos os levitas que eram músicos — Asafe, Hemã, Jedutum, e todos os filhos e irmãos deles — vestidos com roupas de linho da melhor qualidade, estavam em pé ao lado leste do altar. Havia cento e vinte sacerdotes que tocavam trombetas, enquanto os outros tocavam címbalos, liras e harpas.
13Os que tocavam trombetas e os cantores se uniram como se fossem um só, para louvar e dar graças ao Senhor. Ao som de trombetas, de címbalos e de outros instrumentos de música, todos levantaram as suas vozes para louvar e dar graças ao Senhor. A letra do hino era a seguinte: “Ele é bom; e o seu amor dura para sempre!” Naquele momento, desceu uma nuvem e encheu o templo do Senhor,
14de modo que os sacerdotes não puderam continuar o seu trabalho, pois a glória do Senhor encheu a casa de Deus.

1Y ACABADA que fué toda la obra que hizo Salomón para la casa de Jehová, metió Salomón en ella las cosas que David su padre había dedicado; y puso la plata, y el oro, y todos los vasos, en los tesoros de la casa de Dios.
2Entonces Salomón juntó en Jerusalem los ancianos de Israel, y todos los príncipes de las tribus, los cabezas de las familias de los hijos de Israel, para que trajesen el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.
3Y juntáronse al rey todos los varones de Israel, á la solemnidad del mes séptimo.
4Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel, y tomaron los Levitas el arca:
5Y llevaron el arca, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y todos los vasos del santuario que estaban en el tabernáculo: los sacerdotes y los Levitas los llevaron.
6Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que se había á él reunido delante del arca, sacrificaron ovejas y bueyes, que por la multitud no se pudieron contar ni numerar.
7Y los sacerdotes metieron el arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el oratorio de la casa, en el lugar santísimo, bajo las alas de los querubines:
8Pues los querubines extendían las alas sobre el asiento del arca, y cubrían los querubines por encima así el arca como sus barras.
9E hicieron salir fuera las barras, de modo que se viesen las cabezas de las barras del arca delante del oratorio, mas no se veían desde fuera: y allí estuvieron hasta hoy.
10En el arca no había sino las dos tablas que Moisés había puesto en Horeb, con las cuales Jehová había hecho alianza con los hijos de Israel, después que salieron de Egipto.
11Y como los sacerdotes salieron del santuario, (porque todos los sacerdotes que se hallaron habían sido santificados, y no guardaban sus veces;
12Y los Levitas cantores, todos los de Asaph, los de Hemán, y los de Jeduthún, juntamente con sus hijos y sus hermanos, vestidos de lino fino, estaban con címbalos y salterios y arpas al oriente del altar; y con ellos ciento veinte sacerdotes que tocaban trompetas:)
13Sonaban pues las trompetas, y cantaban con la voz todos á una, para alabar y confesar á Jehová: y cuando alzaban la voz con trompetas y címbalos é instrumentos de música, cuando alababan á Jehová, diciendo: Porque es bueno, porque su misericordia es para siempre: la casa se llenó entonces de una nube, la casa de Jehová.
14Y no podían los sacerdotes estar para ministrar, por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Dios.

1Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.
2Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
3Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.
4And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
5And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.
6Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
7And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:
8For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
9And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
10There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
11And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
12Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)
13It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
14So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

1Thus all the work that Solomon did for the LORD’s house was finished. Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, even the silver, the gold, and all the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of God’s house.
2Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.
3So all the men of Israel assembled themselves to the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month.
4All the elders of Israel came. The Levites took up the ark.
5They brought up the ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent. The Levitical priests brought these up.
6King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled to him were before the ark, sacrificing sheep and cattle that could not be counted or numbered for multitude.
7The priests brought in the ark of the LORD’s covenant to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.
8For the cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its poles above.
9The poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the ark in front of the inner sanctuary, but they were not seen outside; and it is there to this day.
10There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
11When the priests had come out of the holy place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, and didn’t keep their divisions;
12also the Levites who were the singers, all of them, even Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and their brothers, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals and stringed instruments and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them one hundred twenty priests sounding with trumpets);
13when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever!” then the house was filled with a cloud, even the LORD’s house,
14so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the LORD’s glory filled God’s house.
