E la casa maggiore la rivesti di tavole di abete, e vi affisse sopra da tutte le parti lamine d'oro purissimo: e vi fece scolpire delle palme, e come catenelle infilate le une nelle altre.

Y techó la casa mayor con madera de haya, la cual cubrió de buen oro, é hizo resaltar sobre ella palmas y cadenas.

And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
