E fece il male nel cospetto del Signore, come avea fatto Manasse suo padre; e sagrificò, e rendette culto a tutti gl'idoli, che avea fatto Manasse.

Mas nunca se humilló delante de Jehová, como se humilló Manasés su padre: antes aumentó el pecado.

But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;
