21da sandte Jahwe einen Engel; der vertilgte sämtliche Krieger, Heerführer und Oberste im Lager des Königs von Assyrien, so daß er mit Schmach bedeckt in sein Land zurückkehrte. Als er sich nun in den Tempel seines Gottes begab, fällten ihn dort welche, die von seinem eigenen Leibe gekommen waren, durchs Schwert.

21Y Jehová envió un ángel, el cual hirió á todo valiente y esforzado, y á los jefes y capitanes en el campo del rey de Asiria. Volvióse por tanto con vergüenza de rostro á su tierra; y entrando en el templo de su dios, allí lo mataron á cuchillo los que habían salido de sus entrañas.

21And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.
