17Los sacerdotes fueron inscritos en el registro genealógico por clanes, y los levitas de veinte años arriba, según sus funciones y divisiones. A todas las familias de los sacerdotes debidamente registrados se les dio una ración regular de alimentos, porque no tenían otra fuente de ingresos debido a que el tiempo y las energías las consagraban al servicio en santidad.
