6Da durchzogen die Läufer mit den Briefen von der Hand des Königs und seiner obersten Beamten ganz Israel und Juda und verkündeten auf Befehl des Königs: Ihr Israeliten, bekehrt euch zu Jahwe, dem Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, damit er sich zu den Entronnenen kehre, die euch aus der Gewalt der Könige von Assyrien noch übrig geblieben sind.

6Fueron pues correos con letras de mano del rey y de sus príncipes por todo Israel y Judá, como el rey lo había mandado, y decían: Hijos de Israel, volveos á Jehová el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel, y él se volverá á las reliquias que os han quedado de la mano de los reyes de Asiria.

6So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
