Or Salomone si risolvè di edificare la casa al nome del Signore, e un palazzo per se.

DETERMINÓ pues Salomón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová, y otra casa para su reino.

And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

Now Solomon decided to build a house for the LORD’s name, and a house for his kingdom.

E comandò settanta mila uomini da portar pesi, e ottanta mila scarpellini, che tagliasser le pietre sulle montagne, e diede loro tre mila secento soprastanti.

Y contó Salomón setenta mil hombres que llevasen cargas, y ochenta mil hombres que cortasen en el monte, y tres mil y seiscientos que los gobernasen.

And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.

Solomon counted out seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.

E mandò anche a dire ad Hiram re di Tiro: Nella stessa guisa, che facesti tu con Davidde mio padre, mandando gli dei legnami di cedro per fabbricar quella casa, in cui egli risedè,

Y envió á decir Salomón á Hiram rey de Tiro: Haz conmigo como hiciste con David mi padre, enviándole cedros para que edificara para sí casa en que morase.

And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.

Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, “As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, so deal with me.

Fa ora con me, affinchè io possa edificare la casa al nome del Signore Dio mio, e dedicarla a lui, per bruciarvi l'incenso dinanzi a lui, e spargervi il fumo degli aromati, e per esporvi in perpetuo i pani, e offerirvi gli olocausti la mattina, e la sera, e ne' sabati, e ne' noviluni, e nelle solennità del Signore Dio nostro in sempiterno, conforme fu ordinato ad Israele.

He aquí yo tengo que edificar casa al nombre de Jehová mi Dios, para consagrársela, para quemar perfumes aromáticos delante de él, y para la colocación continua de los panes de la proposición, y para holocaustos á mañana y tarde, y los sábados, y nuevas lunas, y festividades de Jehová nuestro Dios; lo cual ha de ser perpetuo en Israel.

Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, to burn before him incense of sweet spices, for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.

Perocché la casa, che io bramo di edificare, sarà grande: perchè grande sopra tutti gli dei, egli è il Dio nostro.

Y la casa que tengo que edificar, ha de ser grande: porque el Dios nuestro es grande sobre todos los dioses.

And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.

“The house which I am building will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.

Chi adunque sarà da tanto di edificargli casa degna di lui? Se il cielo, e i cieli de' cieli non posson capirlo, che son io per aggiungere a edificargli una casa? ma non per altro io la fo, se non per bruciarvi incenso dinanzi a lui.

Mas ¿quién será tan poderoso que le edifique casa? Los cielos y los cielos de los cielos no le pueden comprender; ¿quién pues soy yo, que le edifique casa, sino para quemar perfumes delante de él?

But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense before him?

Mandami adunque un uomo intelligente atto a lavorare d'oro, e d'argento, di bronzo, e di ferro, di porpora, di scarlatto, e di giacinto, e che sappia far lavori di intaglio adoperando cogli artefici, che io ho presso di me nella Giudea, e in Gerusalemme raccolti da David padre mio.

Envíame pues ahora un hombre hábil, que sepa trabajar en oro, y en plata, y en metal, y en hierro, en púrpura, y en grana, y en cárdeno, y que sepa esculpir con los maestros que están conmigo en Judá y en Jerusalem, los cuales previno mi padre.

Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

“Now therefore send me a man skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

E mandami parimente del legname di cedro, e di ginepro, e di pino dal Libano: perocché io so come i tuoi servi sono abili nel lavorare i legnami del Libano, e i miei servi lavoreranno insieme co' tuoi,

Envíame también madera de cedro, de haya, de pino, del Líbano: porque yo sé que tus siervos entienden de cortar madera en el Líbano; y he aquí, mis siervos irán con los tuyos,

Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,

“Send me also cedar trees, cypress trees, and algum trees out of Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber in Lebanon. Behold, my servants will be with your servants,

Affinchè mi si provveda del legname in quantità. Perocché la casa, ch'io bramo di edificare, ha da essere grandissima, e magnifica.

Para que me apresten mucha madera, porque la casa que tengo de edificar ha de ser grande y portentosa.

Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

even to prepare timber in abundance for me; for the house which I am about to build will be great and wonderful.

Or io a' tuoi servi, che lavoreranno attorno ai legnami, darò pel loro vitto venti mila cori di grano, e altrettanti di orzo, e venti mila metrete di vino, e venti mila sati di olio.

Y he aquí para los operarios tus siervos, cortadores de la madera, he dado veinte mil coros de trigo en grano, y veinte mil coros de cebada, y veinte mil batos de vino, y veinte mil batos de aceite.

And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.

Behold, I will give to your servants, the cutters who cut timber, twenty thousand cors of beaten wheat, twenty thousand baths of barley, twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”

E Hiram re di Tiro, nella lettera, che scrisse a Salomone, così diceva: Perchè il Signore ha amato il suo popolo, per questo ne ha dato a te il governo.

Entonces Hiram rey de Tiro respondió por letras, las que envió á Salomón: Porque Jehová amó á su pueblo, te ha puesto por rey sobre ellos.

Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.

Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, “Because the LORD loves his people, he has made you king over them.”

E soggiungeva: Benedetto il Signore Dio d'Israele, che fece il cielo, e la terra, il quale ha dato al re David un figliuolo sapiente, scienziato, e pieno di senno, e di prudenza, affinchè questi edificasse una casa al Signore, e un palazzo per se.

Y además decía Hiram: Bendito sea Jehová el Dios de Israel, que hizo los cielos y la tierra, y que dió al rey David hijo sabio, entendido, cuerdo y prudente, que edifique casa á Jehová, y casa para su reino.

Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.

Huram continued, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, who would build a house for the LORD and a house for his kingdom.

Ho adunque mandato a te un uomo virtuoso, e di grandissima capacità, Hiram mio padre,

Yo pues te he enviado un hombre hábil y entendido, que fué de Hiram mi padre,

And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,

Now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram-abi,

Figliuolo di una donna della tribù di Dan, di padre di Tiro, il quale sa lavorare d'oro, e d'argento, di bronzo, e di ferro, e di marmo, e d'ogni specie di legno, ed anche di porpora, e di jacinto, e di bisso; e di scarlatto: e il quale sa fare ogni maniera d'intagli, e inventare ingegnosamente tutto quello, che occorra per qualunque lavoro, e starà co' tuoi artefici, e con quelli del signor mio David tuo padre.

Hijo de una mujer de las hijas de Dan, mas su padre fué de Tiro; el cual sabe trabajar en oro, y plata, y metal, y hierro, en piedra y en madera, en púrpura y en cárdeno, en lino y en carmesí; asimismo para esculpir todas figuras, y sacar toda suerte de diseño que se le propusiere, y estar con tus hombres peritos, y con los de mi señor David tu padre.

The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.

the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan; and his father was a man of Tyre. He is skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, in timber, in purple, in blue, in fine linen, and in crimson, also to engrave any kind of engraving and to devise any device, that there may be a place appointed to him with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.

Manda pertanto, signor mio, a' tuoi servi il grano, e l'orzo, l'olio, e il vino, che hai promesso.

Ahora pues, enviará mi señor á sus siervos el trigo y cebada, y aceite y vino, que ha dicho;

Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:

“Now therefore, the wheat, the barley, the oil, and the wine which my lord has spoken of, let him send to his servants;

E noi farem tagliare i legnami del Libano, quanti te ne bisognano, e noi gli uniremo in fodere per condurli per mare a Joppe: e tuo pensiero sarà di trasportargli a Gerusalemme.

Y nosotros cortaremos en el Líbano la madera que hubieres menester, y te la traeremos en balsas por la mar hasta Joppe, y tú la harás llevar hasta Jerusalem.

And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.

and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you need. We will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; then you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.”

Salomone pertanto fece prendere nota di tutti i proseliti; che erano nella terra d'Israele, dopo il novero fattone da David suo padre, e se ne trovò cento cinquantatre mila secento.

Y contó Salomón todos los hombres extranjeros que estaban en la tierra de Israel, después de haberlos ya contado David su padre, y fueron hallados ciento cincuenta y tres mil seiscientos.

And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.

Solomon counted all the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, after the census with which David his father had counted them; and they found one hundred fifty-three thousand six hundred.

E di questi ne scelse settanta mila, per portar pesi sulle spalle, e ottantamila, per tagliare le pietre sulle montagne: e tre mila seicento per sovrastanti al lavoro di questa gente. Fabbrica del tempio col portico, col velo, e colle due colonne dinanzi alle porte dello stesso tempio.

Y señaló de ellos setenta mil para llevar cargas, y ochenta mil que cortasen en el monte, y tres mil y seiscientos por sobrestantes para hacer trabajar al pueblo.

And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.

He set seventy thousand of them to bear burdens, eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred overseers to assign the people their work.
